First, let me start out by saying the food is very flavorful. If you like spice, you will like their red salsa. The green salsa is more mild and that’s the one I preferred. The red one was just way too spicy for me. I do not like the chips that were served with the salsa and chips. I’m not sure what brand they are, but they were not good. My husband got the shrimp taco and he said it was excellent. I got the steak quesadilla and it was very good. My husband also got the steak burrito and he said that was good. Because of the patrons sitting at the bar, I would have to say that this is not a family friendly restaurant. I say that because of the language that was used. And this was a 4 o’clock on a Thursday. So it wasn’t like we went late in the evening. I would definitely order takeout.

Our first time. No sign outside. Inside essentially a full service bar serving food. Greeted immediately and told to sit anywhere. We ordered drinks, 3 tacos (beef, chicken, pork), 1 steak burrito and a California burger. The drinks were fine. I ordered the tacos with onions on the side and no sour cream on anything. The tacos arrived with the burger. There were no onions on the side. Of the tacos, the chicken was the best, followed by the pork and the steak was the least tasty. The burger was missing the avocado. After asking about my missing burrito it arrived with sour cream. The steak was a bit chewy. We met the owner, a really nice guy. I wish him the best. The prices were the best of any Mexican restaurant in the area. However the food was just ok. The biggest let down was the wait staff. I had to flag down the server twice to get a second beer. Then I had to flag down the server to get my bill, also twice. I will try again once they have the steam table installed. If I were to go back today, I would try the chicken burrito.

If you’re in Rochester, PA, don’t miss out on Cantina Bar-a true gem with some of the best tacos i’ve had. As a Caribbean native visiting the area for a week, I was blown away by their off-the-hook tacos, which reminded me of street tacos. The flavors were spot on and packed with authenticity. The staff was incredibly friendly, adding to the great vibe of the place. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were just as welcoming and down-to-earth. If you’re in the area, Cantina Bar is a must visit for amazing tacos, beer, tequila, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere!!

I tried Cantina for the first time today (turns out it was $1 taco Tuesday). The place is very clean and staff was welcoming and friendly. I ordered 3 tacos (fish, shrimp & pork) but due to mistake I was given fish, shrimp & chicken. Once the staff realized, they immediately made me a shrimp taco, for no additional charge. In my opinion, it was the most flavorful one. There seemed to be a language barrier between them and I, which was no issue for me. I will definitely be back!

Ok Cantina we love your food and we brag about you to everyone. However tonights meal was lacking. Maybe you have a new cook? But the cilantro was over cooked and added to the street tacos like spinach and the onions were huge chunks no where near diced. Please have a talk and go back to your original street tacos. Carne asada street tacos please. They were amazing.
