Our server was great. She was very busy with a party of 19 on the other side. The food however, was very disappointing. I think they may have been short-staffed in the kitchen. Ordered calamari as an appetizer and as soon as it came out, I knew it would not be good. Calamari sat in the window for 3 bell rings..the calamari was all rings…I like a mix of tentacles and rings. It was overcooked, tasted frozen and banana peppers were cold. Strike one…server was still excellent. Next, ordered mushroom and swiss burger cooked medium rare. Burger came with lettuce and tomato..what? …and was cooked well done, tasted burnt..I could not eat it. My sister ordered an authentic gyro with freshly carved beef and lamb…it was cold and definitely did not look authentic…all in all, service was great but the food found me wanting….i left hungry. I will not return

The only positive for me was that our waitress was very patient. I ordered the smash burger. It was not a smash burger. It was two thin hamburger patties that tasted like Salisbury steak. The cheese was reminiscent of velveeta. It was not good. Sadly, I only ate half of it. The French fries had no taste at all. Definitely not worth the $18 I paid for the meal. I do not recommend. The prices overall seemed high.

We are glad the Woodstock Tavern has opened and excited by their extensive menu that includes typical New England Tavern fare as well as several unexpected finds like Moussaka. There are at least a dozen more items that I want to try!
We’ve made two trips since the tavern opened in mid November and our guests befall impression is that the Woodstock Tavern has potential.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The food is flavorful but on both visits entrees were served warm rather than hot. The halfside of ribs were good, pulled pork is above average, fish and chips great, and moussaka was flavorful.
The beer selection is another opportunity for the Tavern to go from good to great. The boy “local” brew was Worcester’s Behoppy from Wormtown. With so many local options these days it would be nice to see some from the Quiet Corner – or at least from the state.
The bar is big and vibe pretty loud. The dining room not as loud, though small.
Even after 8 weeks the parking lot is full early on Thursdays and Fridays – so a good sign that the Tavern has great potential.

The server tonight at the bar was great! Atmosphere is also great…Unfortunately the fajitas here are terrible. My fault for ordering fajitas in a Greek oriented restaurant, but they should probably take them off the menu if they’re this bad.

The Tavern has changed since its opening. Burgers never cooked according to my preference when ordered and wings so dry. Saw individuals enter kitchen through side door that made me uncomfortable concerning health/contamination issues.

First time trying Woodstock Tavern. We were very pleased with the quality of food, our drinks and the atmosphere. We had the gyro platter and the portion was very generous. Definitely recommend this place. We will certainly be back.

The Hawaiian burger was delicious, bacon, spicey pineapple . Had cole slaw instead of French Fries.
Very tasty french onion soup!
Mousaka tasty and large portion.

Family friendly. Loud due to clise seating. Unfortunately one screaming child changes the atmosphère for entire restaurant. The service was good especially since it was very busy. The food was really good.

Had a very bad dinner experience during my first couple of visits, but subsequent visits have been very good. Excellent burgers and the baked fish is simple and well prepared. Creative cocktails and one of the best house old fashioned I’ve had. Order bar food as that is what they do best.
