I couldn’t make up my mind, so I went for the 3 meat platter with beans and glazed brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were amazing. Not too sweet with just the right amount of glaze. The baked beans were delicious, they did have small pieces of green pepper in it which added to the flavor. Now the meat, I had the ribs, pulled pork and brisket. The brisket was my favorite, it was generous slices of brisket done just right. You didn’t even need sauce, they were perfect without it. The pulled pork was very good. It had great flavor and was not greasy at all. Meaning it was a higher quality cut of meat. The ribs where cooked just right and fell off the bone. So if you are passing thru Thomasville and you are craving good barbecue. Stop at the Woodstack conveniently located on the southwest corner of route 84 and US-19. Your tummy will thankyou ☺️

Woodstack BBQ – Still Knockin’ It Out of the Park
Let me just say this loud and clear: Woodstack BBQ never misses. I’ve been several times now, and every single visit has been on point — from the food to the service to that warm, welcoming vibe. This isn’t one of those “one-hit-wonder” joints. They’ve got consistency down to a science.
I’ve made it a mission to try something different every time, and they’ve never let me down. The shrimp? Straight-up amazing — seasoned right, cooked perfectly. The squash? Blew my mind. And don’t even get me started on the burnt ends — they were so tender they basically melted. The ribs? Juicy, flavorful, fall-off-the-bone perfection. My grandson had the smash burger, and in his words, it was “fire” — which, if you know teenagers, is the gold seal of approval.
Bottom line: If you haven’t been, you’re seriously missing out. This is the real deal, no fluff, no gimmicks — just damn good BBQ, served with pride. Woodstack, you’ve got a loyal fan for life. I’ll be back soon (again).

In my honest opinion this place was fantastic! I am a lover of brisket and this BBQ restaurant definitely did not disappoint. It was moist and flavorful. I also had brussel sprouts My husband had a pick 3 meat plate and also really enjoyed his meal. The Next time we get back to the area it will be our first stop.

This place could be great. Seating not comfortable. Need lots of booths and more ergonomic chairs. Staff very good and responsive. Lots of things are way too salty ….not only unhealthy, but also renders food untasty. Food can be inconsistent.
Suggest trying a good recipe for NC barbecue. A nice multiple type bean soup would be great. More veggies without too much salt!
It’s good to see someone is trying to make a go of this place. If you try some of these suggestions it could help. I wish them well.

Great BBQ flavor, Okra is served whole and fried. My only “why” was that they seated us directly at a table that each time the door opened we were blasted with cold 30+ degree air. When we arrived around 11:20 there were plenty of open tables and only 3 were in use, so we could have been seated somewhere away from the door, that would have prevented this. It was only when we had been there a little while that we realized there was at least 2 more rooms and when new patrons were seated they sent them there away from the cold, will we go back? Probably but at a warmer time of year.

Stopped in for a quick bite, ordered a Fried Chicken Sandwich special that had pimento cheese, ranch, and pickled onions on texas toast. It was SO DANG GOOD. It was huge, the breading was soo crispy, and now I know I need to go back and try more of the menu! Great service, barchairs were very comfortable, establishment was very clean and open. Do yourself a favor and get there early for dinner!

As a fried green tomato & pimento cheese snob, the FGT App is a must have! Best pimento cheese I’ve ever had. Mac n cheese was decent, sweet potato fries were alright, but the best part was the service. Our server, Jordy P, was amazing! He brought over our drinks then 10 mins later brought fresh ones because the CO2 had gone out and he thought ours may have been flat. They weren’t, but he brought new ones anyways to be on the safe side. As a former server, I appreciate that level of attentiveness! Despite being busy (Sunday lunch rush) he was on top of his game and as sweet as can be. Thank you Jordy for a great experience and the appetizer recommendation!!

I started going to Woodstack years ago when they were in Valdosta, GA, and it quickly became my favorite BBQ spot. I was thrilled when they opened a location in my hometown of Thomasville. The quality has remained top-notch, their brisket is so good I have to get it at least once a week. And don’t even get me started on the Brussels sprouts, they’re hands down the best side dish I’ve had anywhere. The consistency, the flavor, and the way they treat you like family… what more could you ask for?
