Had a delish Perogi pizza, shed logs, and specialty drinks. Food was hot & fresh! Drinks were really good. Sat at the bar so didn’t really have a ‘waitress’. The women serving the drinks were friendly and took care of our orders. Saw some other fun foods on the menu we will be back to try.

HORRIBLE. I had a terrible experience 03-07-26. We had a party of 6. it took 15 minutes before a waitress got to us. Her service was crappy. A few of us had separate bills. All of us pay and leave. As we are trying to pull out the parking lot, two teenage girls (waitresses) and the bar tender are flagging us down. We stop and the waitress said “your buddy did not pay his bill. I’m definitely not paying it! You need to call him!” And so on. I looked over my drivers shoulder and said “excuse me there is no reason to cock an attitude. We will take care of it.” The Waitresses continue to complain, murmur under their breath, AND they stopped my sister in the car behind me to complain! We continue to hand the waitress our card. My boyfriend walks back inside a few seconds after the waitress. As he walks up to the waitress she goes, “His payment went through. We didn’t charge your card.” So, not only did we have bad service, These little girls absolutely did not handle the situation as they should have. They accused us of doing wrong, when we said we watched our friend pay. (he paid by the QR code of the receipt. HIS NAME was on the receipt. Which they wouldn’t have had UNLESS he paid. If the waitresses would have handled this issue in an adult manner, we would’ve been completely fine with the situation. But instead, they came out, acting like hooligans. We will not be returning here for quite some time very disappointed with the outcome.

In the middle of nowhere, in the corn fields of northern Indiana. Bass Lake shows up. Super Cool! Then, as all people do, we got hungry and wandered in. Delicious! Great prices, great food, great staff! I can’t say I will ever wander back in here again in my life, but I will certainly talk about it! When you are there, ask for Heather! She was AMAZING!!!!

Everything was great! Went there day after valetines and it was packed, but we were seated immediately, food (which was great) was served in a timely manner, our waitress was amazing, and remembered every little thing we need and didn’t have to wait for her to help us. In the 12 years I’ve been with my husband this was the best date and restraint experience we’ve had!

Met here with family for Christmas get together. We traveled an hour and a half to go here. Have been multiple times with several good experiences, but the last three visits to the Woodshed Tap have been bad. This last or on Jan 3, 2026 was nothing short of disastrous.
Party of 8 with two young children.
I ordered the Burger of the month that was not made properly. I ate a couple bites, then realized a problem which I TRIED to bring to the servers attention. Couldn’t find our server for 15-20 minutes. Finally told another server who said she’d alert the manager. Nobody ever came to our table. Another 15-20 minutes.
Our server shows up and tells me the chef said the picture on the table tent is an AI picture and thus not an accurate representation of that burger. False advertising.
She argued over my objections and I asked for the manager. I am now told that the manager is not on premises.
Ends up with the server taking my meal off the bill (never stated this to me) and brought the bills to the table, laying one down by me. I picked it up and the server literally snatched it out of my hand without saying anything.
Our family get together was utterly wrecked. When asked for the managers name and phone number, the request was denied but the server said she would get in big trouble with her boss and that the manager was “not a very nice person”.
Overall, serious mishandling of the situation on all counts.
Sadly, I and my family will not be returning here. EVER.
If Woodshed Tap were the only eating place open, I would not patronize the place!!

We had reservations for 6:30 pm. It wasn’t real busy, seated quickly. We ordered coffee, and the mushrooms as an appetizer. We both ordered grilled chicken with mushrooms and onions topped with provolone cheese, baked potatoes, and corn. He ordered the coleslaw and I ordered the French onion soup. Our waitress brought my soup out before our appetizer. It was greasy and mildly warm. Our appetizer was not hot as well. Our food arrived an hour later cold as well, with potatoes that was hard and not fully cooked. Our server never came back to check on things, in fact I had to request another server to send ours to our table. When she finally arrived, she brought boxes and our check and didn’t ask any questions. I explained what was wrong and she replied “have a nice night” and walked away. After boxing everything up, we had to wait on someone else to pay our check ( which nothing was comped on) because she never came back to take our payment. Very disheartening…Will not be going back…

Holy chicken! Chicken sandwich looked like pork tenderloin from 1 eyed Jack’s. Breading on chicken was perfect. Light, not greasy. Major improvements from this past year as far as quality and quantity of food for the money. Place was packed and we had pick up order. Still got served our food within window of when they said it would be ready. Only reason it was over $50 was because of tip. Fed 3 people with a whole meal left over for tomorrow.

Stopped in for a nice Sunday lunch. Service was great! Personable and Friendly. Food was delicious, we tried the Chicken and Waffles and the Shrimp Po Boy both very good! The Winter Mule was YUM TOO! We will definitely be back!
