Good food in decent prices. The collard greens are not too salty and seem to be cooked very well. Excellent brisket & pulled pork. Wonderful corn pudding.

Keto/GF options, sooo much meat! (at least 4 Sugar free sauces!!)The chicken was amazing, the brisket was amazing, the ribs came clean off the bone if you looked at them too hard.
If you can eat gluten, the corn pudding was very good, according to my other half.
We showed up half an hour before closing, on a game day Sunday. The owner/pit master was the only one working, friendly and patient as could be!
Bonus: There’s only 1 TV, so it was perfect for those of us not into sports ball.

It was a real nice restaurant on the inside very clean. The girls were very nice very sweet waiting on us very friendly knew their job. But the chicken was over peppered was tough and the sweet potato casserole was cold but okay the scalloped potatoes had no taste to them and the coleslaw was awesome. But we got there late in evening but still that’s no excuse it should always be fresh hot food it was lukewarm. $18 a person and the portion size was way too small for the price. My friend and I will not be back we were not happy at all and we’ve heard all high high reviews on this place and it’s a letdown very very big letdown

I can’t really comment on the food because their smoker was down and brisket wasn’t available. We chose hamburgers which were just ok. The server was very apologetic about that.

The food is wonderful. The tons of bbq sauce on the fireplace made me chuckle but they aren’t in the business of bbgq sauces. It’s all about the meat and that’s exactly what you get! The dry rub on the ribs are great without sauce just by themselves. The corner pudding is the best I’ve ever had. These guys know what they’re doing!

The food here is very good but the portions are way to small and overpriced for what you get. I felt like my meal was an appetizer. If you’re going to charge a high price you should give a good quantity of food. Like I said the food is good but there’s no way I’d go back and over pay for the quantity of food you actually get. It’s just not worth it for me

We have been looking for a good rib place! We ordered ribs, Mac n cheese, sweet potato casserole, corn casserole and banana pudding. The ribs were dry rubbed and cooked to perfection. Dry rubbed but sauce is on the tables if you like. The sweet potato casserole was not sweet so…wasn’t to my taste but the corn casserole was delicious and so was the banana pudding made with real bananas and vanilla wafers just like Grandma used to make. You won’t be disappointed! We will be visiting this place again!

Order at counter and they bring to you for dine in. Nice beer selection at affordable bottle prices. Wings were bangin! Brisket was very tasty as well. 1 signature BBQ sauce that was pleasant to the palate. Tuesdays is open mic night. Solo guitarists and a jazz trio. Very nice! Super casual.

A solid three stars here. The restaurant is cute as can be! The staff was very helpful and explained the menu items to me. I felt like it was old school cafeteria-style: grab a tray, go down the line and make your choices and then have a seat.
The food was good. I felt like it could have used a bit heavier smoke flavor and a couple of ‘house’ BBQ sauces would not go arwy. But they did have some Sweet Baby Ray sauces I hadn’t seen before.

New BBQ joint opened up in lovely downtown Lebanon. Folks are super nice. Clean store. Seating for maybe 35-50 people inside. Does not feel cramped by any means. They have a tiny two person table on the sidewalk right outside the store but guessing they will add a couple more when it gets warmer? They have live music every Friday night. You walk in, go left to order, then walk back down to dining area. Salad bar. Coffee station. Sodas are Coca-Cola soda machine, two options for teas(sweet and unsweetened). So i picked up for lunch a 1/2lb of brisket and a side of cole slaw. Let’s talk about the brisket, if you love Texas staple of salt/pepper and smoked with post oak, you may not love this. Don’t get me wrong, it is delicious but it’s seasoned more like a very, very good pot roast. The funniest part is, the nice lady chopped this absolutely blackened end piece aside and I spoke up immediately that I wanted that. You can watch them cut/pre your food so this is the perfect time to speak up. She asked me if I really wanted it like she was going to toss it aside forever? The other nice lady states, you’re just like my husband, he lives that part. It was one of the best burnt ends I’d ever had. Think a fatty, melt in your mouth, meat candy. The cole slaw was pretty good, crisp cabbage, a little bit bland for me so added some spices here at the house. Don’t worry, I didn’t eat all the brisket, I left a few meaty bites for the lovely Mrs. I just adore these small mom and pop places, please go check this place out and support the local families. Next time, I’m going to see if I can talk to the folks running the smoker, ask about woods and smoke/cook times. Details to follow.
