My wife and I heard about this place and since it was only about 45 minutes away decided to give it a try. We are always up for a new adventure. This place didn’t disappoint we went on Saturday right when they opened, no wait, great friendly servers that came back several times to check on us. Portobello mushroom appetizer was delicious. The filet was so tender you almost didn’t have to chew it, huge baked potato baked to perfection, roll. Everything was DELICIOUS!! Read the review where someone that gave it a 1, seems a bit strange that anyone would drive from St. Louis to order a hamburger? Don’t know but just saying. I would highly recommend this place, Clarence is blessed to have such a restaurant

Absolute best steak I’ve ever had! Way better than anything I’ve tried living in St Louis. I’m honestly blown away by how flavorful and tender the fillet was. The roll and fries were delicious too! We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re near here!

My husband and I have been here for and hour and 45 mins. Three different tables have been sitted and order, there dinner after we have. The wariest came out and told us that they are out of potatoes after we had been waiting for over an hour for our dinner. It’s 8:07 and we just got our dinner. They took off the cheeseburger $9 that was the hole meal yet made us pay for full price for a raw hamburger steak at 17bucks that wasn’t the full meal. I came in from st Louis to come have dinner. This was the most customer service experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve never left a review before but this place actually deserves one. I can’t believe we have something this good, this close to home actually. The beer was ICE cold, salad was fresh, homemade fries and the steak & shrimp were excellent. Service was also 10/10, holy cow. Not that it matters but the place is so cute & clean, definitely a good place for date night and a game of pool.

The most amazing, welcoming, and attentive people around. They always check in to see if you need anything, they apologize if something went wrong, they have conversation and truly care about your life! We’ve been going since it opened and since getting engaged they talk about how it’s going, planning and such. I don’t know many places that would think twice about you are. Before you make a full decision on this place, go 2 or 3 times and see just how great it is! ☺️ I recommend it to anyone and everyone!

This place was probably the worse experience in a restaurant I have ever had. Parking, what parking. Atmosphere was nice but the staff and owner are rude. I could hear the owner in the back yelling at staff for something simple. The food, the toughest steak we’ve ever eaten. Bathrooms were filthy. There was a cook or server hanging out back smoking and talk real nasty on the phone to someone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Was pricier than i thought it would be, but was WORTH IT! Surf and turf was amazing. Asked for a cup of butter to dip the shrimp in The ribeye was awsome. The baked potato was large and simply delicious.

I chose a side salad instead of the soup of the day I wish I would have chose the soup I did not care for the salad due to the fact that the leaf lettuce was room temperature and not appetizing looking
My partner’s sandwich but he felt that it was a Frozen meat Patty I am choosing it was not
I chose the country fried fish hands down delicious, for the small town that it is I do not believe I will eat there very often but if I have family come through that don’t live in Missouri yes I would go there and eat again!

Had placed our order at 520pm table with 5 at table 12 . At 635pm we had to ask for the salad that came with the meal. 10 mins later our food finally showed up. Very big disappointment not worth the wait or food we ordered the 45 dollars steaks and 2 ribeye and a chicken basket. Wasn’t even that busy either.
