On my way to class, I realized that I’d forgotten my breakfast. Seeing this I figured I’d stop in at the gas station/dinner I saw on my usual route. It was small, in a good way. The staff were very nice and easy to talk to. I ordered the florida toast, which was great. The cinnamon in the biscuit was balanced well, not overpowering but blended into the flavors. Overall a great experience, will be back the next time I forget breakfast!

Gas and breakfast stop in Illinois farm country. Get a decent sized hot breakfast for 10 bucks or less. The staff was kind and the food decent. Nice home fries here. No complaints it’s a good stop before you explore the Garden of the gods. They have some interior seating but not much. Stop by for coffee.

Great little convenience store/ restaurant/ gambling room. Not a lot of tables, but just enough. Food was super quick and server was very nice. It’s always nice to find a chill place to get good food in the middle of nowhere. Will definitely be back when I’m in that stretch of the woods.

Very poor service and dirty tables. Grease was old and made food smell & taste bad. Never open until 8 pm like sign says. Fountain drinks are sky high priced. Would not recommend this place.

Stopped here to use the bathroom and was so excited to see real food to purchase. $4.49 for 3 biscuits and gravy was the perfect little snack before we go hike Garden of the Gods. Also the bathrooms were very clean.

Excellent service and cheese sticks !! Also Google sent us to a corn field so it doesn’t quite know where it’s located. It’s on the corner of 1st Street. Would visit again.
