A great Mom and Pop cafe! Nothing fancy, but clean and orderly. Obviously well cared for. I had the “Woods #5” breakfast of 2 eggs, American fries, sausage, and toast and added coffee and juice. The food was delicious! The presentation could have been used to illustrate a menu. The service is outstanding as well. You won’t regret eating here!

This place is a MUST if you’re in the area! My siblings and I were coming through town and were looking for a solid, hearty breakfast. Woods Cafe was the absolute best place we could have found – the authenticity and community of the place was obvious immediately. The coffee was hot and fresh, the food was delicious (highly recommend the raisin toast!). This place is easily a staple for anyone traveling through the area.

Welcoming, cozy, quaint and an absolute epitome of anything you could ever want from a breakfast cafe up in the Northwoods. Delicious home cooked food served up by cheery folk. What more could you ask for?

Lucked out and found this place. We were going to the Island but it was closed. Now I’m always going to come here. I love this place. The Barley soup wow it was so freaking delicious, i got a bowl to go. Burger was just always fresh pressed daily and it’s a big deal to me. The taste was just perfect. Then ended the meal with a piece of banana cream pie, super scrumptious to say the least. What a sleeper place, awesome waitress smart very fast. Thanks I’m a huge fan and can’t wait to try out more from here.

Food was good. Even if we lived close to here we wouldn’t go back due to the owner/waitress. The restaurant was busy but she looked right at us when we walked in. All she had to do was say hello, take a seat anywhere. We stood there for a few minutes and decided to sit. After that I felt rushed to order. Maybe she was having an off day, but your business is customer service.

By far the best breakfast! Home cooked and delicious. I had eggs, american fries and bacon. My son had the pancakes. Very reasonably priced. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend

We came to the North Woods for a get away since we were having our 40th wedding anniversary. And we wanted to find a local restaurant since we didn’t want a breakfast from some chain restaurant experience, we new a local place would be great since this is where people who live in the area go, and we were not disappointed. Good food and very nice people, and we’ll be back. And I received the clean plate award and you will also

Good food but overpriced. Enjoyed the old fashion atmosphere but nothing stood out. Only thing they have going over some of the places I like better in the area is they were open on a Monday. Still beats fast-food just wish it didn’t cost almost $30 to get two guys lunch and a pop.

Came in with my fiancé and 2 year old because online it said “kid friendly” so I specifically chose a window seat so my daughter could look out the window. The waitress then told my daughter “don’t touch Bob’s clean window cause he’ll be mad.” I thought that was highly inappropriate and rude. You don’t scold someone else’s child, let alone a 2 year old who was just touching a window to point to things outside. Luckily, the food was very good. And otherwise the lady was friendly after the fact- I think she could tell we were upset. However, I don’t plan to return.
