You can get better food and service, but you can’t get a better taste of easy going bacon and eggs, than you can from Margaret and Brenda on the weekends. Week days are good too. Best Belgian waffle in the valley if you ask for it to be cooked hard. I can’t give them a five stars because the coffee is weak.

Tasty diner food. It’s near our home so it’s a convenient place to go when we’ve been working hard and don’t feel like making lunch. You end up smelling like the grill, but hey, that’s all part of the ambiance, right? And since we’re usually pretty grubby when we go in it doesn’t make much difference. Haha. Good folks and friendly service.

Ordered the “smallish” pancake. It was huge. I kind of wonder how large the “big” pancake is. My wife got the chicken fried steak and said it was good. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We’ll be back for sure.

While in Woods Bay we always stop for breakfast at the grill. Super breakfast, very busy and the greatest hash browns, just like my dad made them fifty plus years ago. All the locals, travelers and celeb or two make this a regular stop. You can’t go wrong.

Excellent breakfast in a casual atmosphere. It wasn’t a quick stop but the wait was worth it. Be sure to try their jam as it is locally made. Two “yums” up!

Best Biscuits and Gravy I’ve had in a long time. Wish I would have found this place earlier in my trip. Heading home today. But will definitely be back.

Five of us had breakfast and it was all delicious home made food! We had chicken fried steak, biscuits and sausage gravy, and a breakfast sandwich.

One of my favorite places to eat.

From their elk and bison burgers, to their country fried steak. I love going there. This was the first restaurant I went to when I moved to Montana.
