First time eating here. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food– it was simply divine. I had the salmon bagel with a fried egg and it was delicious. Their drip coffee was also good! Highly recommend. Friendly service and hella good food!

A year ago this place was great to go have a cup of tea and chill. Good music, games, events from time to time. But since the first manager left, they’ve restaffed and it’s not as much of a great time. It’s always dirty now – floor not mopped…They have ants and I would prefer not to have my sandwich serve by people who look unclean/unkept. I went in last week for a cup of matcha and the lady had a Capt’n D’s bag on the counter.

Stopped in yesterday while looking for a vegan breakfast option for my 1-year-old who’s fully vegan, and I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the avocado toast for him (no egg) and the smoked salmon everything bagel for ourselves.
Everything was very good — the avocado toast spread was fresh with a subtle hint of citrus that really elevated the flavor. You could tell it was made with care. The smoked salmon bagel was easily a 10/10 — perfectly smoked, balanced flavor, and the cream cheese was smooth and creamy.
Another thing I loved was how they had a lot of Black vendors showcased in their seating area — from art to small business products. I thought that was really dope and such a great way to support and highlight local creators. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

This place is such a gift to the community. Staff are always sweethearts and very helpful with any questions or hiccups we have. The food is really comforting, not bad prices compared to other places. Definitely recommend you stop in and give them some love (also check out their local goods section! Everything from jewlrey, hats, stuffed animals, even juice all made by local creators ♡)

Here in BMH for my wedding and just got off the plane, starving but not wanting anything too heavy. Got the Sunrise Flatbread, and it was delicious, light, fresh, and satisfying. Just enough savory to hit the spot, and the proportion was perfect!! The team: Chef, Eric, Taylor, and Isabella made it even better, kind, professional, engaging! All the stuff that’s currently missing from so many other places.
I will return and definitely recommend!

This place is fantastic! Inside and outdoor seating and lots of fabulous natural light. The food was delicious – the fruit, granola, and yogurt is spot on! There is a nice selection of tea if you aren’t a coffee person. The staff were friendly and it was a relaxing place to enjoy breakfast.

Took my mom here for breakfast the food was excellent. I was happy to find a place that caters to my dietary restrictions and that my mom could also enjoy. I love the salmon bagel. My mother throughly enjoyed the grit & egg bowl.
Thank you we will be back soon

We didn’t have a good experience. There was only one copy of the menu, which had “protein options” but then never listed what those options were, the drinks had little to no flavor and the food service was extremely slow. Once the food arrived, the portion sizes were small ex. the to-go grit bowl was served in a small soup container and was half full and the flat bread breakfast was severed on a mini-naan, with a few greens and a plain egg.
Would not recommend. Will not be returning.

Went in here today to study with my wife for a few hours, and it is such a cool little place! The biscuits are heavenly, the turkey melt she got was phenomenal. The coffee was awesome and served in cool, can-shaped glass cups with metal straws! LOVE ♻️ free Wi-fi, plenty of seating, and plentiful outlets! This will be a studying frequent for us! The only thing that was a downside was when we were there, there were two kids there that I believe were the children of the server that took our order so they were there the entire 3 hours we were and they weren’t quiet most of the time either. Some headphones and white noise helped, but just wanted to put that out there for those who are more sensory overload sensitive.

Today was my first visit. Already I feel it will be a regular stop for breakfast.
I had read a Facebook post about happenings in Avondale that mentioned this place. The writer suggested the egg cheese avocado biscuit and the yogurt granola fruit bowl. It did not disappoint. Best biscuit I have ever eaten. Wendy knows her stuff. The house-made granola was covered in a vanilla yogurt with sliced bananas, oranges, and blackberries drizzled with honey. Absolutely delicious.
I could also drink the Mandarin orange herbal tea all day long. Lovely presentation.
