This restaurant has been around for years; as I recall the food was always so good. Recently I went back for takeout for the first time in many years and it was just as good as I remembered. Grill thali, lemon rice, parotta kurma, samosas with chutney were all so tasty. Wonderfully spiced, fresh, good quality. You can tell the food is cooked and packaged up with care. Friendly staff/owners. I am glad to see they are still going strong; this restaurant is a Chandler AZ gem.

I ordered idlys from woodlands, really it was too good and fresh. And chutney and the sambar was top notch, in other reasturants you can’t find that kind of assorted veggies in sambar, but here they serves along with assorted veggies. One of the best Vegetarian restaurant with authentic flavours and no artificial taste enhancer in chandler location. Here on wards I’m a great fan of their food. I highly recommend the Woodlands reasturant from my in-depth of my heart. This is a great Indian pure veg restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and and incredible food.

Never disappoints when we get cravings for South Indian, still very best in onion rava dosa and masala dosa .. filter coffee and bisbeli bath.
Don’t miss this place as it’s a hole in a wall and has been serving authentic food for many years.

Great south indian place. Had utthapam, idli, mysore masala dosa, poori aloo, and tomato rice. All were authentic and tasted excellent, except the pooris which could have been better! The atmosphere and service could have been better too. Go for the food.

Avoid this place like the plague.
The place is very dirty. Tables and seats were not cleaned at all; they still had food/oil from whoever sat there before.
A run down place where it seems like the owners don’t care about their business anymore.
Food was served in use and throw plates even when dining in. Food quality was horrible; bland sambhar and blander chutney. Plus, the quantity of chutney was minuscule.

Family owned and operated South Indian vegetarian restaurant. Consistent quality of food, service and taste! It’s a favorite with our family when we crave comfort food. Owners are very friendly and courteous. We’ve been regulars since they opened

Another lovely Indian restaurant. South Indian breakfasts especially all the Dosas and Uthappam are so good. Staff are very friendly. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but worth it. Should try it.

I liked the service, decent customer service. Prices were fine. For folks who are not very used to South Indian food, this can be a great place to try out dosas, idly and other stuff. But, if you are looking for authentic madras / tamil nadu style then this is not the place.

I visited the restaurant on 10/29/2020 at 5.10 pm for dinner. This is COVID 19 era. This restaurant is situated in a mall and set up as a fast food set-up. You pay upfront and get your food.
Ambience – When I entered, I did not get a good vibe. The restaurant had definitely seen better days. The taped up seats should have good reasons to leave, but i decided to give it a try.
Customer Service – The man taking my order was not having a good day. It set the tone for my experience.
Utensils – Paper plates and Styrofoam cups for dine in.
Food – There was a good selection of food. I ordered Onion Rave Masala Dosa ($9.50) and the Grill Thali (#13.99). Came to about $25++.
Taste – The Grill Thali came with instant Idly, and instant Vada, and masala dosa. The masala dosa was hot but the two chutneys were ice cold, with the sambar watery. I asked if the chutney can be heated up and was told No. The Onion Rave Masala Dosa also came with ice cold chutneys. I was eating a hot dosa by dipping into a cold chutney!!!!I finished my meal and the tea had not arrived. I just wanted to leave, asked for a cup cover to leave, and was told that they do not have a cup cover ( I wonder how take away orders are fulfilled).
Experience – I do not recommend this restaurant. I did not get value for money and bad customer service with Indian food that is made from instant freezer food. I would be happy paying $25 to eat at Olive Garden.
