Overall, the food is tasty. The mushroom briyani was aromatic and very savoury. The mango lassi was thick and satisfying. The samosas were crispy and we ordered a second serving after finishing the first. Surprisingly packed restaurant even at 2.30pm on a weekday – clearly a popular spot. The cheese naan was average though.

For Buddhist vegetarians to note – there are allium in several dudes, especially onions.

Food was cheap and pretty good no complaints there. I love an ac but omg youve never experienced anything like it it’s freezing in there seemed to be a lot of staff there but nobody came to take our order so we assumed you’d go to the counter. Second time round coming here someone came to take our order so it’s a little unclear. A lot of the staff are also standing round doing nothing. Apart from that the food is good and we came here twice so couldn’t have been that bad.

Amazing vegetarian food!

Every dish was delicious, full of authentic flavor, and freshly made. The place is always packed, which shows how popular it is.

Despite being busy, the staff were super friendly and attentive.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Penang — totally worth it!

Very disappointing experience. The staff were not welcoming and not friendly at all. When we asked to order beverages, we were told that the beverages were finished.
The food was not good it was extremely salty, and I couldn’t finish eating it. Overall, this was a very unpleasant dining experience and I would not recommend this place.

The food here was incredible. Me and my partner had between us:
Onion dosa, onion & tomato uttapam, chapatti, panner masala, Baigen Bartha and gobi manchurian. Everything was incredibly tasty! The dips that come with the dosa and uttapam the gobi Manchurian was delicious!! Staff good at understanding dietary restrictions.
My only complaints are that when I ordered the Manchurian, I wasnt asked if I wanted dry or gravy, it’s on me for not remembering to ask for gravy, but I felt I should have been asked so I remembered there was options. Secondly, the AC was SO COLD! It made the experience less enjoyable as I was freezing and the food went cold quickly. I wasn’t able to relax.
Overall a delicious meal thank you

We ordered the Briyani, Garlic Naan, Aloo Gobi and Palek Paneer. The Briyani was flavourful and tasty, Naan was a bit dense instead of being a bit fluffy which would have been perfect and the 2 side dishes were delicious. place was a bit too cold probably in contrast to the very hot weather outside.

My first time here and it was really worthy. Tried their tairu saadam, bombay thali set and madrass filter coffee.

Absolutely loved all the items which i ordered especially their madras filter coffee and tairu saadam would definitely go over again.

Super tasty and super cheap food. Massive variety. All dishes are so flavoursome. It’s a typical Asian restaurant, basic tables and cutlery. Stunning food. We’ve travelled the world and still call this place our favourite. Free water. Recommend 3-4 dishes per couple. Don’t expect fine dining! Cash or card accepted.

The bathura is really good but the naan could be better. The set is really worthwhile. Free flow of water. Great choice for vegetarians.
