Five stars for their oat-chocolate chip-multigrain cookie. So freakin good with just the right amount of sweet, salt, and rich dark chocolate. The sweet potato breakfast bar was also fluffy and healthy, but that cookie is divine. Serene spot off the beautiful Stowe Recreation Path. Coming back to try their salted peanut butter cookie and more.

5 stars!!!!

A decent little coffee shop. Quiet, pleasant. Much of the food is premade and the burrito was very hard on one side. Overall the food and coffee were good, but not super shocking or anything. Prices felt quite high with burritos being around $10 despite being premade and under a heat lamp. I’d come back, I think, if only to try baked goods!

A Hidden Gem of a Coffee Shop in Stowe

This coffee shop totally surprised me—in the best way. From the outside, it looks like a regular, quiet storefront with not much going on. But as soon as you step inside, it’s full of life, energy, and good vibes.

One cool feature is the open kitchen. You can see everything being freshly made, which I always appreciate—it adds a level of transparency and authenticity to the whole experience.

I ordered a Red Eye, and it was bang on—bold, rich, and just what I needed. I also tried the maple burrito, which was unexpectedly delicious. The flavors were unique and really satisfying.

This place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in Stowe. It’s conveniently located right next to the ski rental complex, making it a perfect stop before or after hitting the slopes. Great coffee, tasty food, and a fun, lively atmosphere—highly recommend!

My friends and I just loved this place while visiting Stowe. This became our morning go-to. Their coffee was so good and their pastries and sandwiches were very much enjoyed. I highly recommend their harvest bar (amazing) and their chia seed pudding. My husband also loved their house made granola bar. They were much less busy in the mornings than cafes on Main St and SO much better.

Coffee was good. Food was average at best. Baristas were on the rude side and forgot about making our drinks after we ordered food. You’re better off driving 6 minutes to the Roastery with better coffee / breakfast sandwiches.

We absolutely love Woodland Baking and Coffee — it is hands-down our favorite spot in Stowe! The coffee and the matcha are always perfect, the baked goods are beyond amazing (truly the best anywhere around), and the PEOPLE make it what it is.

Anna, Claudia, Molly, and Peyton are always so friendly, kind, and welcoming. Sue and the incredible baking team make everything with love and these goodies are legendary! Honestly, I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews — we have been regulars for a while, and every visit feels like stopping by to see friends. The vibe is warm, local, and genuine — maybe the folks leaving bad reviews are just having a rough day.

Thank you Matt for creating such a wonderful local business. Stowe is lucky to have you all!

We were visiting Stowe for vacation and came for breakfast. Right away, the shop is very cute. Well decorated as is most places in Stowe. The customer service was subpar, everyone has bad days but the young woman behind the counter didn’t so much as smile. I heard an older woman in the back, who I assume was the boss, yell out about another customer order “well if we have it we have and if we don’t oh well!” and telling her workers to “push” and “upsell” certain items. Everyone seemed genuinely unhappy. As for the food, my husband got a cinnamon roll which was fine and my son got a chocolate croissant and maple lemonade which he loved. I had the coffee cake which was inedible due to it being burnt and dry along the bottom half. My espresso and milk was perfect. I would come back for a quick coffee but would probably skip sitting down and eating.

The coffee and cinnamon roll were good. The breakfast sandwich we got was burned….The girl working the front counter was not friendly at all… Not even a hello or thank you for coming in….Shouldn’t be working the front counter…

The baked goods are fresh and perfectly sweet.
We had the pumpkin espresso bread which was divine. I don’t even like pumpkin spice.

The coffee is great too.

I specifically picked this place because their food looked good and they were just outside the main chaos of Stowe. But we got there around 3pm and I finally saw the fine print that they stop serving food at 2:30 (they close at 3:30) and I was so sad! We still wanted to give their coffee a try. I think they must’ve been slammed all day, or had rude customers recently because the girl taking orders was very curt. She tried her best to smile but I could tell she was done for the day. That’s okay, I was a barista before, I totally get it! But as soon as we sat down with our drinks she was smiling and laughing with her coworkers and a regular that came by so… it was just us.

We got an iced chai and an iced pumpkin spice latte. We should’ve said light ice, there was a lot of it. And even iced drinks came in bamboo cups with bamboo straws. Not a fan. Our drinks tasted okay. I had the best pumpkin spice latte earlier that same day at Lake George so it was harder to rate. We’ll brave the crowds for a different place next time.
