I love a good bbq joint. First time here. Hubby and I Arrived right after opening. Staff was really nice. Restaurant was really clean all throughout. Kitchen was clean from what I saw. Bathrooms nice and clean. Probably one of the cleanest places I have been to in a long while.

Atmosphere was very pleasant. Good Ole country music. Bbq and good country music just go hand in hand if you ask me =)

Food was fast and delicious. Maybe 5 minutes.
I got the quarter pound pulled pork with Mac and cheese and coleslaw.

Will definitely go back!

I ordered pulled pork on a bun with a side of French fries. I was a bit surprised when the sandwich came covered in baked beans. I was more surprised when I tasted it and it was over ran with spices. The beans made the sandwich impossible to eat and I had to attempt to eat it with a plastic fork before giving up due to the spices. The French fries were the same way, WAY too many spices on them. The flavor wasn’t that bad but was extremely over done. Not enjoyable to eat imo and most went in the trash. Also the constant beeping from the vending machine in the lobby is enough to make a man go crazy..

Also, no in Kansas knows what sweet tea is.. you people are drinking ditch water.

Food was delicious, definitely get the Dinner with two meats. Portions are a little on the smaller end, but it’s worth it for the price.

Good food I’ve had better but it’s still hit the spot. I wasn’t a fan of there sauces but everything else was pretty on point. I got charged for ranch for the fried okra I ordered which is something I think should go with it but hey it is what it is. The food we got came to a total of 35.52 if I had to recommend something I’d say the potatoes was pretty amazing. We took pics the fried okra was yummy too and a choice for a side on the dinner plate option.

Stopped while passing through from Tulsa to California. Lots of different bbq sauces to dip your food in! Try the hickory! Bonus points for offering fried okra as a side as it is rare to find in California!

Amazingly flavorful! We had a mac attack potato w/ chicken, a giant baked potato w/ brisket, and a one meat dinner w/ pulled pork and smokey beans & potato salad. Everyone raved about it. We will be back when we’re in McPherson again!

The beef brisket was delicious, the creamy potato salad was awesome, but the coleslaw did not really have any flavor and the Texas Toast was not really toasted. However, the brisket and the potato salad made it worth the trip. Inside is a bit worse for wear, with generic restaurant equipment and tables that had napkins under the legs to keep them from rocking back and forth. Another customer was actually cleaning the sauce and soda station, and she sounded frustrated when she mentioned it to me. The food is worth the trip, just go through the drive-up and avoid the interior.

I didn’t want McDonalds, tired of eating Mexican. Braums was right there… I chose this place. Reviews were good, but food fell short! Ribs had no flavor, dried out. Brisket was lukewarm… Chicken was absolutely disgusting, no flavor, chewy and I’m pretty sure it came out of the microwave. Potato Salad was actually decent and I did like the spicy beans. Long story short for what I got, I could’ve turned out better quality food on my Pit Boss. Maybe it was an off day, I’d try it once more before I write them off.

Absolutely great service and good BBQ. Ribs were tender. I asked for our brisket to be lean and cut thick, and they delivered. Pulled pork and chicken were also good. Okra was nice and crispy. Toast was thick and good.

The potato salad tasted good but was very runny. Cole slaw was very good. Smoked beans were good.

Sometimes, they have burnt ends, so ask if they have any if you want to try some. The burnt ends were squishy with a nice bark, so it was good in my book.

The BBQ sauces were good but didn’t stand out as excellent to me, but I rarely use sauce on my meats. Mini bar for pickles, jalapeños, and banana peppers.

The only complaints that I had were that the plasticware was very cheap and flimsy, and the napkins were thin and small. Give us some decent plasticware and put some paper towels on the tables.

Been here a couple times now. May be same level as hog wild. Pulled instead of sliced or even chopped brisket is always so sad to see. Brisket wasn’t super dry but very disappointing. Smoked potatoes were huge. Crazy uncharges for ranch. All that being said everything was edible and I’ve had worse.
