I have been here twice now. The food and drinks are delicious. This place will definitely be a place i go to again and again.
I’ve enjoyed the Havarti Stuffed Coccoli, The Prosciutto with Arugula Pizza, Prosciutto and Ricotta Ravioli, and a friend who likes spicy enjoyed The Melissa Pizza. Desserts which have been yummy are the Flourless Chocalte Cake (more like a big piece of fudge), and the 808 Cheesecske with Raspberry sauce.

Woodfire Dundee is an absolute gem in the suburbs! We started with the burrata and warm woodfired focaccia, then tried The Melissa pizza, vodka rigatoni, and pesto gnocchi – all were delicious and full of flavor. We finished with their crème brûlée, which was the perfect sweet ending.
The vibe is cozy with a cute patio, and the staff was outstanding. Huge shoutout to our server Isaac, who went above and beyond and made the experience even better.
Highly recommend for phenomenal pizza, pasta, and an all-around great dining spot!

Ordered the vodka rigatoni to go for 22.00. Their is very little taste not to mention very little flavor and the portion for take out was certainly not worth the price. I could have gone to Costco and the sauce would be 100 percent better tasting.

*VEGETARIAN* MUST VISIT!! One of the best places for wood fire pizza and pasta in the chicago suburbs area. Everything on their menu is fresh and made in house (verified by manager), including desserts like Tiramisu. All pasta’s are homemade with FARM FRESH EGGS.
The pizza was thin, soft and crispy, perfectly cooked. The goat cheese and sun dried tomato pizza was something I haven’t had before and will never stop having now. I highly recommend trying this, its very unique and flavorful. The blend of cheese and tomato is perfect, not one overpowers the other. The wild mushroom was also amazing. The use a melody of mushrooms so you get all different flavours and textures, and there is not too much cheese and it doesnt taste dry after a while (I’ve had a lot of mushroom pizza’s that’s just get too dry and boring after one slice, however this was perfect). The marrissa (spicy) pizza was also delicious. It has honey drizzled over it which gives you a perfect blend of sweet and spicy but not overly sweet. Definitely try if you like spicy.
If you’re a fan of gnocchi, you MUST TRY their basil pesto gnocchi. The gnocchi is very soft and cooked with perfect texture, but the sauce is the home run. They use fresh basil and you can literally taste it in every bite, it just lights up your mouth and reminds me of the fresh pasta sauce from Italy. One of my favorite dishes.
The tiramisu is not the best I’ve had but its very good, if you like tiramisu you will not be disappointed. The manager actually gave it to us on the house as a treat because we complimented the food so much. He said they make it in house every morning and it was their last piece left.
Overall, wonderful place for dinner. Prices are high but it is definitely worth it. I will be coming back many times. If you are considering going, YOU MUST!

Took the family out for pizza and appetizers at Woodfire in West Dundee. Great pizza and appetizers. We ordered 2 kids cheese pizzas a wild mushroom pizza and another cheese pizza. Pizza was excellent. Fried calamari and truffle fries. The appetizers were great but small portions. It was kinda busy and had to squeeze between tables. Light fixtures need a dusting. Other than that it was excellent. Will visit again soon.

Food: We had two pizzas, one with gluten free crust. Both crusts were delicious – the gluten free tasted just as good as the normal crust. We had plenty of leftovers for later.
Drinks – We loved the hibiscus margarita and the cranberry white sangria!
Parking – we parked in the free lot behind the restaurant so it was very easy to access.
We will definitely return – there were so many unique pizzas that we want to try!

Spill The Cheer
If you’re planning to place a takeout order about 30 minutes before closing (which is a pretty reasonable time), this may not be the place to order from. I called at 8:26 PM and was told the kitchen was already closing and they couldn’t take my order. I would completely understand if it were 8:50 PM or right before closing, but this felt a bit early. Order woulda been a small pizza. Not even little Caesar’s takes this long to make it.

Absolutely delicious classic and specialty pizzas (Fig & Pig is an unexpected love for me)! The Arugula and Prosciutto pizza is also very yummy (especially if you add the hot honey) HIGHLY recommend the Tuscan fries <3
