Wings were crisp and fresh – we coined a new phrase “Wings Take Flight” – couldn’t decide which sauce so we got a dozen wings and dipped into 8 different flavors… Bourbon Molasses, Teriyaki and Parmesan Garlic were hits, the others were tasty too…
White pie or red? Try half of each…we tried Jackson Hole (red) and Ivory Coast (white). Personally I could have done without the red onion…each were good. Thin crust with just a bit of char…
Hosmer Mountain Birch Beer is always a thumbs up from me…

Had wings fries salads and pizzas for the whole table. Everything was really good. Service was fast and friendly. Price is very fair. Would come back and recommend to anyone looking for a chill and authentic New England pizzeria.

I had originally eaten at Woodfellas when they were at the Velvet Mill in North Stonington. To my surprise, I found them in New London. My wife and I had dinner there the other night. The pizza was as good as I remembered it. We will definitely be returning, just for that reason. The Velvet Mill location was informal. No waitstaff. You ordered and waited for it to be made. Then you carried it out to the common area or the Beerd taproom. Now they have a full fledged restaurant. It is beautiful and clean. The staff were amazing. Our server was McKenzie and she was polite, witty, and knowledgeable. We will definitely ask to be seated in her section again. I had a specialty hard cider mixed drink. It was tasty. The pizza was definitely worth the trip. They took note of my wifes food alergy and accommodated for it. This is definitely a place everyone needs visit once. They will go back, I assure you of that.

One person playing host and waitress can be difficult. Very nice lady, but we can tell she was overwhelmed. When we arrived, it was very quiet and I guess we brought the crowd after 🙂 The Hughies salad was okay. Large portion made it worth it. The pizza (Old Blues Eyes) was good, but the crust was a bit soft for fire wood stove? Just heard is gas actually. Second time here, but sadly won’t be returning. Oh yeah. Waited over 40 minutes for a re-fill when my wife asked if I can get one. We did, much later in a plastic small cup. Really? Too bad, plenty of potential but it’s the little things.

Fantastic pizza spot. Delicious. Alcohol and Pepsi products. Red sauce pizza, white sauce pizza, breads, wings, fries, salads. The pizzas come in whole or half size. They have crushed red pepper, oregano, garlic powder, parmesan cheese in shakers. Small parking lot out front.

We booked the Woodfellas Pizza Truck for our glorified-house-party wedding, and it was a HUGE hit! Bob was incredibly easy to work with and responded promptly to all of our emails. They accommodated our guests’s dietary restrictions seamlessly, and everyone loved the food! They even had extra ingredients, and were able to cook another 10 pizzas when we were in danger of running out! We cannot recommend Woodfellas enough, and would absolutely use them for another event.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had the hot honey bread, sweet chili wings, and a pepperoni pizza. The bread was excellent. Great flavor with a little heat and nice marinara. The wings were really nicely done also. Nice crisp outside with flavorful, moist chicken inside. The pizza was also beautifully done. Great crust, great flavor, great experience. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.4.

Nice, quiet little place. We came here just after lunch with hardly anyone dining in. The Bruschetta was tasty appetizer and the Black and Blue pizza, Margherita pizza were delicious! A great place for lunch with friendly service!

Lots of people coming in to pick up to-go orders. Not very packed inside when I was there (Sunday, 6pm). Fast and helpful service, very good French Onion soup and Chicken Thai pizza.
