Great pizza & appetizers, cold drinks, super friendly service & just had the best laid back time. Jim & his staff are amazing & let us have a great time on a slow Saturday night in a thunderstorm. Definitely an off-the-beaten-path place, bring your 4WD vehicle, if possible, but I love the adventure to get there & fun times to be had once you arrive. Can’t thank our server enough for putting up with our girly shenanigans while we made wonderful memories!

My wife had the shrimp dinner and I had the perch dinner. Both were delicious, with generous portions. My only drawback was that there were bones in the perch fillet. That’s in no way a deal breaker, but I didn’t expect it, and wound up with a mouth full of bones before I knew it. (Maybe warn people that there might be bones?)
STILL, like the place and certainly will go back. Atmosphere was great and the staff was very nice!

This was our first time trying the Wooden Nickel as we moved to the area back in July, it was hands down the best food we’ve had in the area by far!!! The new waitress/bartender was great, met the owner and he was super friendly and accommodating with finding us a booster seat for our 1 1/2 yr old!!! Great music and views everywhere!!! We will definitely be there more often now that we’ve gotten to experience it and the service was outstanding!!!

Great hangout for friends and family!! I enjoy their fried bologna sandwiches, wings and raspberry wine. I highly recommend their pizza too! The food is great! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Very clean and relaxing environment. Located outside of town away from traffic. Beautifully peaceful
