If I could put 10 stars I would. This outstanding small Black-owned business is the hole in the wall you are looking for. When it comes to home comfort soul food this is the place hands down. The staff and warm and welcoming and greet everyone that walks in and out their doors. Okay okay thanks for asking YES ITS WORTH IT! This is not my first time coming here and will NEVER be the last. The pulled pork is great. The hotdogs are great the Ribs are Tender and juicy. The Mac n cheese( before they run out) yes it happens…moist and cheesy. The cabbage sweet and savory. Even entree comes with 2 peices of fat back. The FRIED CORNBREAD…..FRIED CORNBREAD. Made fresh and crisp and soft in the middle. Ladies and Gentlemen please go..don’t walk..RUN. I DIDNT EVEN TELL YALL ABOUT THE DESSERTS. Everything is a MUST TRY!

Awesome country cooking at a low price. Family atmosphere and very friendly staff. I recommend the fried chicken, corn bread, mac & cheese, and green beans. Everything was delicious and the portions were big. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food.

The food was delicious, absolutely the best hush puppies I’ve ever eaten. Definitely true country cooking, several choices of sides to include collards, cabbage, fried okra, field peas, max and cheese, potato salad, cold slaw….Family atmosphere. Definitely would love to come again!

Food is delicious and fresh. Customer service has always been pleasant as well. Lemonade is always a hit!
I would LOVE to see the candied yams be a constant on the menu. They are absolutely delightful and not too heavy like other soulfood restaurants. The menu contains limited veggie/side options for people with dietary restrictions, such as Alpha-Gal or religious restrictions (Muslim or Christians who do not eat pork). Other than that, such an amazing place to dine!

*** YUM! just the smell from the outside invites you to eat! Very clean and very friendly, service was excellent. Order at the window and pick a table. They bring it to you! .Had the special of the day (hamburger steak with rice and onion gravy-seasoned to perfection) with mac n cheese and okra…my friends had the fried chicken and pork chops…we shared a fried cornbread and collard sandwich and it was HUGE! The collards are seasoned to perfection and fried cornbread was crispy and hot! Just a perfect bite! You will not be disappointed

The food was good, staff was friendly. We came up from Fayetteville to meet up with some family in the middle and picked this place to try out. Well worth it and I’m glad we chose to come here. Great BBQ, chicken and the fried corn bread was excellent!

Simply delightful and a real hidden gem. The food is amazing from outstanding sides (can’t say enough about the potato salad, house made chips and next-level fried cornbread) to Friday fish fry (the catfish is by far the best for miles). Be sure to give the “dunked wings” a try. Lightly breaded, cooked to perfection, with a to-die-for sauce. Meaty ribs and other house specialties rotate every week and make checking in weekly a must. Last but far from least is the people. Great service from a genuinely nice and attentive staff. This one is firmly in our rotation. From food to service, it checks all the boxes and then some. Well done!

I frequent this restaurant at least once, sometimes twice a week. Their fried chicken is next level and all the sides are delicious. Its a good thing they’re only open for 3 days because if not my wife would have me there more.
