Excellent family restaurant, I’m pretty sure I ordered the Carolina pulled pork with mashed potatoes and coleslaw on the side, They serve garlic bread with bbq sauce as an appetizer and it was very good. The mashed potatoes didn’t come with gravy but it was still flavorful. The lemonade came in a sugar coated glass and was a pleasant non alcoholic drink

Today I ordered steak medium well and it came bloody as for one of my sides steamed Broccoli it came with black rot on the stems and most of the crowns! I returned them and didn’t want a replacement or money taken off my tab , the manager came to the table and asked if everything was fine and I told her she told me some story of how that was safe to eat I didn’t argue! But working in the food business I was trained on safety and sanitation and food appearance and was trained in the field and told if the food doesn’t look good enough to serve your own family then don’t serve it ! So what happened there? And we weren’t offered a refill at all and I didn’t bother! I’m thinking about not returning there and taking my business to out back instead from now on sheesh no good
