The sauce I tell you the south is where it was at it was kind of different but anyways I had to pulled chicken sandwich mild sauce and they drizzled mild sauce all over my delicious fries so therefore it even made it even more delicious it’s making me hungry again just thinking about it.

We went to the restaurant on a weeknight when they had only a handful of other customers and ordered “to go” at the counter. Our jumbo rib tips were just a waste of money. More than 1/3rd of the meat was inedible fat and gristle. I’m being kind at the 1/3rd estimate. The turkey was very good but they do not put BBQ sauce on the meat. They put fries on top of the meat and then put ALL of the sauce on the fries. Had we known this, we would have declined the fries. The sauce is very good but, again, useless when you have to swab the fries to get it on your choice of meat.

We’re from out of town and wanted to find a local place. The food was fine…fish was pretty good but the rib tips were greasy and gristly in too many places. But this is the first BBQ restaurant I’ve ever seen where you have to pay extra for BBQ sauce. How does that happen?

Would rate higher but the food is hit or miss. Ordered a mini tip and got a bowl full of bones. Very little meat, a lot of fat, and just greasy

Out of the barbecue places I’ve tried here, I enjoyed wood n hog very much. I ordered the ribs and rib tips as well as the saussies. As for the rib and rib tips, they were tender and flavorful. Both had a good smoky savory spicy flavor, could be more tender but not distractingly dry. Sausage had a nice outer, crispy shell, and good flavor. Sides are kind of cheap. Also, great value they give you a lot of meat

I got a pork sandwich with fries and sauce it was amazing. I also ordered the macothe Mac n cheese. It was awful. It was dry and hardly any cheese. It said $3.99 on the menu but when I looked at my receipt after I got home they charged me $5.29. will never get that again.

I tried it twice. It still has not caught my attention enough. The landmark of it being the old Lil Porgy is a plus. The ladies that serve me where supper friendly and nice. First time I tried every said get the burnt ends. I did and they tasted old. Second time I order the Jerk chicken wings. The flavor was good, but once again the chicken it’s was old, like reheated chicken and they just put sauce on them.
