The burgers here are absolutely amazing. For sure some of the best I’ve ever had. Juicy, moist burgers that have so much flavor. I highly recommend the mushroom and Swiss burger. The original burger won best neither in Iowa in 2019. The appetizers are way good. I loved the crab Rangoon dip and cheese curds. Don’t miss out on this fantastic restaurant. Great service too

Every menu item I’ve tried has been great and the service is quite good with a comfortable atmosphere. Plentiful seating as well and can get sort of busy on weekends. Seating also open for different number of guests and separate room available for get-togethers. Variety of drinks available and though the food is very good, not a huge variety (none of my friends have had issues picking). Would recommend for a nice dinner with a few friends. Will be returning for sure!

First time here and it did not disappoint! The reviews were accurate and this place is delicious! Our server was Jess and she was very kind and so was the bartender. Both very attentive and just overall great at their jobs. Food and beer was reasonably priced. Will definitely come back!

It is a nice place! Our service was really fast and the waitress was extremely nice! I was honestly not a big fan of their Crab Rangoon Mac n cheese, it did not taste anything like crab rangoons. Would not order again. Appetizers were really good though!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Wood Iron Grille! The other members of our group are regulars and had some great ordering recommendations, including the Baja Shrimp Tacos and Wood Iron Original Burger. We would definitely dine here again!

Loved our first time trying the Wood Iron Grille! Had a hard time choosing from the interesting choices when it came time to order! Decided on the Pig Toes appetizer to share among the 5 of us–turned out to be a great choice! Really “tenderloin fingers”, but great name! Items pictured include some of our entrees, including the flatbread, poutine, and the burger special. Desserts were lemon cheesecake mousse with blackberry puree and creme broiler. Delicious–ALL OF IT!! We will definitely be back soon!!!!

Absolutely amazing experience! Drinks were good, apps were great (we had the buffalo wings) they were just the right amount of spice without burning my face off, my Alfredo was amazing, and the best part was the yummy dessert! Prices weren’t too bad either it’s a nicer restaurant on a golf course but you get what you pay for! We will be going back!

The Wood Iron Grille is on Iowa’s “Tenderloin Trail”. My son and I traveled 85 miles from Muscatine to Oskaloosa just for the tenderloin sandwiches, and it was worth every mile and minute of driving. There was an added purpose in going. It was to commemorate my wife, and his mother, who is not with us any longer. She loved a good breaded tenderloin sandwich. So we did it to celebrate her memory, which we’re able to do in fine fashion!
