Wongs Tacos is the best of both worlds brought together but never forgetting the sanctity of either. Not just Chinese. Not just Mexican. Burritos, bowls, tacos and other fun fusion dishes inspired by the flavors of both Chinese and Mexican cuisines. We like to call it affectionately and playfully Mexinese. We are defining the Mexinese Culinary culture.

Joe at Wong’s Tacos made this one of the best, budget friendly food experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food was incredible, it was the perfect mix of my favorite flavors. The Korean-Mexican fusion is done so well, and I loved that there were tons of gluten-free and dairy-free options.
We ordered a ton of food and everything was amazing. The mango mojitos were only $5 today (Thursday) and SO good. Super refreshing and perfectly balanced.
The Mexican rice was such a standout, it was a blend of Asian fried rice and Mexican rice, but as a Puerto Rican it honestly reminded me of arroz con gandules in the best way. So flavorful and comforting.
They also had a bento box special with three tacos, sweet plantains, chips, and your choice of guac, pico, or queso. Honestly such a good deal and such a fun combo.
But truly, Joe made the whole experience. He was so kind, attentive, and great at explaining everything. You can tell he cares about the food and the customers. If the food didn’t already make this place amazing, the service absolutely would.
Fantastic experience all around. We’ll definitely be back.

Definitely recommend checking Wong’s tacos! We went on a Friday evening and sat on the patio which was very nice atmosphere and family friendly. The bao buns were delicious, super flavorful and savory. My husband got the bulgogi burrito and really liked it and I got a couple tacos. The standout was the ahi tuna lettuce wrap, it was a generous amount of tuna, so fresh and flavorful.
Our server Joe also made the experience so wonderful. He was very knowledgeable of the menu/flavors, attentive, and very hospitable. A gem in the service industry these days

We had such a fun girls night at Wongs Tacos. The atmosphere is lively but still easy to talk and catch up, which makes it perfect for a group.
We each picked two dishes and shared everything, and we still had plenty of food. The tacos were fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were generous which made it great for splitting. The margaritas were a highlight, especially the skinny low calorie option which was refreshing and did not feel heavy.
Such a great spot for a relaxed but fun night out with friends. We will definitely be back.

OMGoodness! Who knew this place has been here since June, not to far from Crabtree. The food was excellent, fresh, and flavorful! I had the Bento Box special. Both my braised Korean brisket and El blanco taco were yummy . Next time I will try the Wong John Silver and to make sure to go on Friday for the drink special Im dying to try the Boubon Peach Tea! The owner, the marketer from Richmond, and Bartender Joe were very welcoming, personable, and top notch . I’ll be back for sure! Looks like their is a new bagel place will be opening soon next door too; who knew this was all in this area.

We have now been to this restaurant twice in the last week.
On Saturday night (6:00 PM) it was very crowded and we chose to eat outside. They have a lovely patio area right next to the parking deck so everything is very convenient. This afternoon (Friday at 4:00 PM) there was plenty of seating inside.
The Bao Buns were what attracted us to the restaurant (they are on the appetizer side of the menu). My favorite is the Shrimp Bao Buns but the Brisket is a close second. I think the chicken Bao is a distant third. The chicken was a little tough and lacked in the variety of flavors that the other two had.
I had the Moo Shoo Mushroom Taco and if I haven’t filled up on Bao Buns I have to have this. The flavor is spot on and the portion size is just right. The tacos are street taco size and you order them individually. Our friends had the brisket taco, the sirloin steak taco, and the pulled chicken taco.
Other exciting flavors were the Black Bean and Corn salad, which simply must be ordered for everyone to share with their meal, and and the crispy brussel sprouts.
My spouse was pleased to see that they carry a cider on their menu.

Roberto was my waiter and he was perfect! Music was perfect. Food beyond great. Patio was amazing and still felt connected to the indoor vibe/music. The food was affordable and did I say delicious. I had in mind to try every taco on the menu because it was taco Tuesday and I promise you the taco was so stuffed I could only eat one. So I will be back to taste every taco. It was date night and we was amazed that for everything we got INCLUDING 2️⃣ drinks and 1️⃣ desserts ( 2️⃣ sides 4️⃣ tacos 2️⃣ appetizers) was only 80 bucks I will always return back for taco Tuesday. Thank you so much again for the wonderful hospitality from every staff member.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Head 5 minutes from the mall to this yummy gem! I had a hankering for beefy Mexican food and they sure delivered! I had 2 tacos, the Bulgogi Asada & El Blanco Taco. They were both great — dripping with robust flavor, literally — which went perfect with the Mexinese Fried Rice (packed FULL of garlicky goodness)! They have good daily drink specials, too — even on Fridays (the Bourbon Peach Tea). Service was FAST, the bartender (Joe) was FANTASTIC, and I’ll definitely be back!

My wife heard of this new Asian and Mexican fusion place and we decided to try them out. I love Asian, specifically korean and my wife loves mexican so we had high hopes. We definitely were not disappointed. I had the Korean Brisket Taco and Bulgogi Taco and my wife had the mahi taco and jerk chicken taco. For sides we had the mexican fried rice, sweet plantains, and beans. We highly recommend.
Price wise it seems to be in line with prices other restaurants are charging. I had 4 tacos, she had two, three sides, an appetizer, and one margarita. Altogether it came out to be about $70.

Food and service was great and was a beautiful restaurant. The food selection was extensive and the Mexican coke with limes a plus. Two different rice choices along with beans were amazing. Only thing I would recommend to the owner is using taco holders. My brisket taco was packed with shredded brisket and was really juicy. The juice ran onto my other tacos and made the tortilla soggy. But I still enjoyed them 🙂 thanks for opening such a nice place in our neighborhood.

Wong’s surpassed my expectations. I really enjoyed my dining experience. A fellow Yelper invited me out for lunch and I gladly accepted. Parking was seamless with the small restaurant lot and attached parking garage. I love all of the LED art and the layout of this restaurant. A beautiful patio for fall dinning and cooler days. Today was a cooler day. We arrived for 12:30 and were seated promptly. It was not busy and there were plenty of dining tables to choose from. Roberto was our waiter and he was excellent. Very attentive. I decided on the Tequila Mockingbird cocktail which is very similar to a Piña colada with tequila. Very well made and beautifully garnished. My friend had a strawberry basil cocktail. I was very impressed by the presentation of the food at Wong’s. They really captivated me with this. For entrees we decided on The Korean Brisket Bimbimbap bowl and my friend had Wong’s Nachos. These dishes were plated beautifully. I really enjoyed my bimbimbap. Tender brisket, oyster mushrooms, pickled cucumber, radish, purple cabbage, green scallions and a perfectly cooked egg to top it off. So nourishing ! Delicious. The Wong’s nachos have left me drooling. They looked so delicious. My friend was blown away. I find Wong’s prices very affordable for the value.
I anticipate returning to enjoy the patio, happy hour and Taco Tuesday. Im so happy more restaurants like Wong’s, that offer a unique dining experience are coming to the Crabtree-Glenlake- Wood Valley area. So close to home and convenient for me to gather with loved ones.
