Absolutely delicious! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had for a ridiculously low price They substituted sweet and sour chicken for sweet and sour pork on my combination plate with no additional charge and gave me nearly 3lbs of food for only $15! The staff are also incredibly friendly and the restaurant is so charming. This is such a gem, literally everything you want in a Chinese restaurant. The food is so good it’s worth driving all the way from Denver to eat here

This place offers some pretty good Chinese food at very reasonable prices. All of your Chinese standards are on the menu along with a few specials. I ordered a daily special which included a cup of soup, tender pork pieces, and an egg roll along with my broccoli and beef with fried rice.
The service was extremely fast. I had my soup within two minutes of ordering and the rest of my items within 5 minutes of ordering.
I went at 5 pm and the place was already about 3/4 full with what I assume to be local regulars at the restaurant.

Always our first stop for food when we enter Colorado. Clean restaurant, friendly staff that are always happy. Good food. Nice, small town feel.

The Chinese Food Restaurant was surprisingly delicious. Everyone we asked recommended Wonderful House over every restaurant in Trinidad! The portions were very large and the quality was perfect! Finally the prices were great. I would highly recommend if you are staying here or just passing through!

Who would have thought the best chinese food in the state of Colorado is in Trinidad. We stopped here while traveling and read all the great reviews. They were spot on. This place is awesome. We had the Family Dinner for 2. The seafood soup was super flavorful and a great texture. The double mushroom beef and ham fried rice were a first for us and were both delicious. The honey walnut shrimp was fresh, hot and delicious.

Was told to pass on the Lo Mein. If you liked zit spicy , you must ask for extra spicy . I will be back if i am in the area again

EDITED BECAUSE WE LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH AND CAME BACK AGAIN TODAY!
We came up from Texas and got a to go order in August 2023. Incredible food! So much so that we just came back through and stopped again out of our way to eat there this time. I wish we had taken pictures because I can’t explain how nicely each plate was carefully prepared. The owner Kelly) was incredibly kind and personable. It was easy to tell she genuinely loved people and serving her delicious food. I would go back just to check in on her and have some of their wonderful house tea. Thanks again for a really delicious dinner! Edit: We came back today 11/13/23 just to eat here again! It was so great to see you Kelly, thanks again for being such a lovely host. -Sarah from Texas

My husband and I stopped at Wonderful House for dinner on our way back home to the western slope after the holidays.
This place is a gem in the state as there aren’t many great places to eat in Colorado. We must protect this place at all costs! The ample and delicious food we ordered comforted and satisfied at a price that’s half of anywhere else.
We ordered two spring egg rolls, a medium wonton soup, family style tofu, and chicken chow mein, all served fast, hot and full of flavor. At the end of our meal, we were stuffed with leftovers remaining.
The family staff at Wonderful House brought our food out quickly and warmly. This place is so good that it makes me want to buy real estate here. The quality, prices, and service can’t be beat!

We arrived in Trinidad and decided we didn’t want to eat at the normal fast food spot we usually go to on our way through. We wanted to eat Chinese. We mapped the locations and then read some reviews. We had a good laugh over many of the reviews mentioning the egg drop soup. It almost sounded as if someone had paid for all these reviews to mention this one item. So my sister-in-law was like, let’s go check it out. We stopped there last Friday and decided that we would be stopping back by on Sunday when we came back through from Albuquerque. Both times, the food was amazing. The people that were running it were friendly and very hospitable. I already have a request in to have my sister-in-law bring me some food from there the next time she stops in. We didn’t have a single thing we didn’t like, but out of all that we tried, I think the Honey Walnut Shrimp was my favorite.
