I don’t think this concept is for me.

Positives: very very clean. You can see into the “kitchen”. And it was spotless which is impressive. They did have some cheap options which was good to see.

Not so positive for me: Everything I actually wanted was sold out. Which was confusing because it was the middle of the day.

I ordered a cheesesteak and it was fine. Good sauce ratio. Fries were pretty good.

I just think the food is fine- in comparison to what is around; I wouldn’t choose to eat here again.

It’s not a food hall. It doesn’t give local flavor or supporting small business. Which is fine- but if I’m down here that’s how I want to spend my money.

It was honestly mid. It’s a great concept if you have people with a variety of tastes. However, I think since they’re trying to do so many different cuisines, each of them is falling short. I got a burger from one menu and Cajun fries from another. Both were fine. My friend got some sort of chicken and eggrolls. The chicken was fine and eggrolls were good. If you’re looking for a place that will cater to everyone in your party, this could be good. If you want the best version of each of those cuisines, I suggest going elsewhere and supporting Baltimore businesses. They had one single stall bathroom. It had the railing and diaper changing station. I’m unsure why they only had one when there seems to be space for 2.

If you took elevator music and put in into a dentist waiting room, with a commercial kitchen on the back, you’ve nailed the vibe of Wonder.

And I get it. Removing human facing staff, warmth, empathy, care, je ne sais quoi makes for a potentially profitable food establishment. Alas, this has as much a food hall feeling as your local drive thru car wash. I guess this is what you get when you let an algorithm create a food hall.

And to be fair, I am comparing this location to Wonder to “R House” in Baltimore. Which is sorta like comparing mass produced mayonnaise to small bartch Housin sauce.

So the food is fine. 3 out 5 stars. But who wants mid calories?

The real grievance, other than the bathroom door being locked and me having to take my kids to the car to pee…cause with no human staff no one knew how to unlock the bathroom. Was the discount code said 50% off and only gave me $20 off my $71 dollar order.

Was my mix of brisket bowl, bacon cheese burger, pizza, seaweed salad and green salad worth $50 bucks? Well at least once.

So go if you like basic, food served with as much warmth as one might conjure from a drive thru car wash experience.

People may find it a challenge making choices from one restaurant’s menu, let along have 28 menus from which to chose. Online perusal let me narrow my choices to cuisines that I could not find much of in Baltimore. That led me to JOTA by José Andrés. While Wonder shares the use of screens for ordering (or their app) like other ghost kitchens, one actually sees real humans through a kitchen door and behind the open air shelves where completed orders are placed. Also there is a well designed dining area with counter seating, high tables, and regular tables which are quite comfortable. When my order was called, I told the staff member that I was trying out their concept since they will be opening a new location near me in Bel Air in June. He said that manager is undergoing training right in this kitchen which bodes well for the new branch. My order of Fennel, Apple, and Manchega Salad, Setas al Ajillo (mushrooms) with toasted rustic bread and (chicken) Pollo a la Catalana was delucious and well presented.

The “virtual” kitchen concept is incredibly cool to me. You can order through the app or walk in and place your order at a kiosk, and it’s ready in the pickup area within 15–20 minutes.

I LOVE that Wonder offers so many food options. Even though there are several different menus and cuisines, you can mix and match your order. I’m always indecisive and like a little bit of everything, so this is perfect!

I enjoyed the baba ganoush and tzatziki with pita from Maydan, the broccolini with lemon-garlic sauce from Walnut Lane, and the seared salmon with hazelnut-cherry compound butter from Bobby Flay. Also very excited that they offer Magnolia Bakery’s famous Banana Pudding at Room for Dessert Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Great concept and execution. Ordered lots of times and never had a bad experience. Also it’s great to have so many distinct options and restaurants from one place in one order. Cool idea and it’s my goto delivery spot!

The staff were very helpful and tentative. They assisted me with the kiosk without me even asking also made me aware of any promotion deals. The food was hot fresh and was delicious. I will be returning

This was my first time ordering from Wonder. Food came quickly, I ordered a bowl and some hummus. The salad bowl was ok and the hummus really didn’t have any flavor or taste like hummus. I’m not sure if I would order again.
