Reviews
Table side service.
The protiens are sooo tender. When grilling, the proteins do not stick to the grill. They actually have smokey -ness to it as well.
They also serve hot & cold water, I love small details like that.
The kimchi, so fresh! We loved it so much bc it reminded us of our late gma recipe.. we had 6 orders of it!
We were happy & satisfied with everything, the service, the quality of the sides & protiens. We’ll definitely be back. 10/10
What we ordered:
* pork & beef combo b
* corn cheese 콘치즈
* seafood pancake
(Haemul-pajeon) 해물파전
•steamed egg
(Gyeranjjim) 계란찜
• braised black cod with radish
(Eundaegu-jorim ) 은대구조림
The portions were huge! I love that the bibimbap comes out on a flat sizzling pan to maximize the crunchy rice you get from it. The baby octopus was delicious and had great flavor. The steamed egg had a spongy texture which and was also really flavorful. The banchan was also really fresh and the kimchi really stood out.
The tofu soup was not as thick as some that you might get but it had a really good savory flavor that you can taste in the soup. It was overall a real great experience and a great value if you’re going at lunch. Definitely adding to our regular rotation.
The meat quality is excellent—way better than most Korean BBQ spots, not to mention the AYCE places.
The service is outstanding. You essentially have a designated staff member grilling all the meat for you, and they pace it perfectly based on how fast you’re eating. There’s always freshly cooked meat ready on the table, without everything being cooked too fast and getting cold.
Overall, it’s a great experience, and I highly recommend this place.
I do wish there were more meat options but my favorite was the beef brisket!
I also wish there were more side dish options to snack on.
Overall. Definitely would come back but they are on the pricer end.
From the quality of the meat to every single dish on the table, everything was next level. The kimchi pancake, beef stew, soups, sides, literally everything was so PACKED with flavor and done with so much care. Nothing felt like filler to make you full before the meat and every side dish could have been its a main one.
The meat quality and cuts were unreal. The cuts were insanely tender and flavorful. The grilling service is top notch, they even blow torch the meat (!!) and use the best non-stick grill grate so nothing sticks or gets lost. You get the perfect char from the fire and the torch, and it’s just
This is the biggest hidden gem for kbbq in DFW. But fair warning!!!: Once you try Won BBQ, you won’t be able to go back to any other Korean BBQ. If you live far away, gas up, because this WILL be your regular spot.
Because everytime I go, it feels like it was made with so much love and passion. No fr, the banchans are the best in DFW. They’re always alternating so you’ll get to most likely try a new banchan each time but kimchi and potato salad ones are pretty staple. We always get the galbijim here! They have a smaller portion that serves two which most places won’t even offer. The meat is soooooooo tender and so much flavor. It is sweeter than I would want but still really tasty. Pork hot stone is the other dish we love! So, if you’re asking me about the actual Korean bbq I do not have an answer because I don’t normally eat that part here. Next time, I’ll try and update you guys!
