Staff is incredibly friendly and fast. Burgers were very good, we tried 3 different options. The best thing by far is the cheese fries. Atmosphere is cool under the bridge, but it felt tight inside with only a few tables.

The best tastiest burger I’ve had hands down! And the cheese curds!! Omg I can’t say enough how yummy it was. You gotta try their malts! We got the salted caramel and it was a perfect pair to our burgers. We are definitely coming back! Also wanted to mention the sweetest and friendliest service as well!

Located just under the Hawthorne Bridge, Wolfs Head was a surprising gem of a burger joint!
We were in the area and decided on a burger for lunch. I picked Wolfs Head because it had 4.8 stars on Google Reviews, so I figured it must be worth a stop, and it definitely was!
Customer service was top notch! The girl at the counter was welcoming and answered all our questions about the menu. The menu was small, simple and reasonably priced.
The burgers are more of an old-fashioned style and they were delicious!
I opted for the single patty burger and my husband got a double, and both were well seasoned with plenty of toppings.
The milkshakes were delicious as well. I got the Olive Oil & Sea Salt Vanilla shake made with Tillamook Vanilla Bean ice cream and he got a chocolate malt.
Thank you, Wolfs Head, for amazing customer service and food! We will be back when the craving for a good burger returns!

We went all in as it was our 1st time. Got The Works with bacon, curly fries and malts! Burgers were great and served fast. Everything tasted and looked fresh. There was burger and bacon in each bite. Couple of notes. Fan out those lovely, thin slices of fresh tomato. Ours came stacked and we didn’t think to fan them out ourselves. Was surprised at curly fries. Ours were lukewarm and seemed to get mostly 1/4 inch ends. It appears fries may be held in a metal bowl and not made to order? My friend was missing the malt taste from his malted. I cannot weigh in on this as I don’t have the experience. Although I did see containers of malted milk next to the blender.

My first smashburger experience was a success! The restaurant is under the Hawthorne Bridge just past the RR tracks and parking was available. The staff was friendly and excited to see us. Ordered a single and curly fries. The burger was delish! Truly smashed, crunchy on the outside with great flavor. The curly fries were good, but I’m more of a natural or steak fry enthusiast. They have seating in the back which was convenient. Overall, all great experiences.

Delicious! I already wanna go again. I got the cheeseburger with bacon and fixings and wow I loved it. My partner got the burger of the month(pesto burger) and that was good. Cheese curds were good! But the star of the show might have been the deluxe curly fries. They had melty cheese, bacon bits, and grilled onions diced. So. GOOD!

Quick and tasty. This minimal frills smash burger restaurant is a great place for a quick bite to eat. Definitely get the cheese curds when you go, they are delicious and the perfect texture. They also serve curly fries, which I’m a sucker for. The burger was well cooked, but could use a little more burger sauce. Other than that, it tastes great.

The food here is pretty good, I have been here a few times and the burgers and cheese curds are good, nothing necessarily amazing though.
However, I was really turned off the last time I went here. I arrived at 5:45, 15 minutes before they closed, and placed my order to go. The woman working at the front seemed annoyed that I arrived at all, and when I ordered a malt she was visibly irritated and was passive aggressive about having to make a shake. Even though we did arrive soon to closing, we were still out of there at 5:54. I think it was unnecessary to be treated as though I was imposing when I arrived before closing, ordered my food to go and was out more than 5 minutes before they officially closed.
They were also completely out of their monthly special which I had originally gone there to try.
