We stopped by and got a little bit of everything. We got brisket, sausage, ribs, and prime rib with sides of baked beans, mac and cheese, and coleslaw.
The prime rib and mac and cheese was my personal favorite and the ribs were my fiancée’s. Everything came out perfect and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. When we got home, we literally sat in silence while we devoured the food. This place is definitely worth the drive and is one of the best bbq places that we have had in Indiana.
We got all of that food for just under $60, and we definitely had enough food leftover for 2 or 3 more people.
That’s about $12 a person for high quality BBQ!!

Driving thru Kokomo Indiana and came across Wolfe’s Smokehouse. Oh!! What a find indeed. Michael, the owner, was super hospitable. Tried his smoked brisket, chicken and turkey. Wow!!! Knocked it out of the park. As a Texan, I know good bbq brisket and he has nailed it. Don’t drive by Kokomo and miss this opportunity. Portion size is huge and man is it tender. Just get ya some!!

On 01/10/2026 I decided to eat a full rack of ribs at Chuck E Cheese. They made the ribs extra wet for me and wished me luck on my venture. They didn’t believe I could do it, unfortunately they were right but I only had 1 1/2 pieces left. Glad they could be a part of my journey. Phenomenal ribs and people. This will be an annual event.

I got the brisket and the portion size was excellent, great value for the money. Meat was VERY salty. It was very juicy and yet, kind of dry from what I expected.
The brisket baked beans were dreadful. I swear that was a can of pork and beans with a little brisket thrown in.
Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but better to just say your out of beans than to serve those things.
EDIT: I LOVE the response! An excellent blend of sincerity, annoyance, and sarcasm.
To anyone who reads my “meh” review; know this- I am 100% going back here to eat again because the food was good AND because they have the guts to push back when they disagree.
That’s what I want in a BBQ joint and I highly recommend that everyone goes and tries Wolfe’s for themselves. DO NOT take my word for it!!!!

The pulled pork sandwich was great ! Ribs were decent too, ok flavor . However they tend to pre make a lot (Trays made already)from the looks when you go in.like their donating or leaving church . I didn’t like the turkey much it was more of a lunch meat type of turkey; more better around thanksgiving if you ask me, didn’t have a BBQ SMOKE taste to it neither. Overall I’d say if you just want a quick taste for bbq without doing the work they’ll pass !

My girlfriend and I shared the Wolfe Platter and everything was EXCELLENT. Neither of us normally like bologna whatsoever, but something about the way it’s done here is different because we both loved it. The Chicken was so moist and seasoned very well. There was so much food that we each got lunch and dinner out of the platter so the price is great for all the meat they give you. Will be returning.

If you love BBQ like we do, you must try Wolfes!! We got the pulled pork entree with brisket beans and the mac n cheese bowl with pork, both with their sweet bbq sauce. No matter what you get, it’s all amazing! Their customer service is outstanding as well. Don’t forget the dessert! We had this amazing peanut butter layered deliciousness and it was so good!!
