The desire for a steak for my birthday was strong.
We embarked on a 3 hour round trip for a meal at Wolf, and would happily do so again.
The ribeye was perfectly cooked, full of flavour and juicy. The sides were a beautiful pairing.
The level of service was impeccable. After telling our tale of our journey across from Grindelwald in search of steak, our waiter presented us with a complimentary birthday dessert.
While it seemed that a lot of Lucerne’s restaurants were closed for the Monday night, Wolf was very busy, with a great atmosphere and mix of people.
I don’t often leave reviews but felt compelled to. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

First of all, I’d like to thank Hana for her warm welcome and kindness. The place is very nice; the tables are close together, but you can feel the warmth. It was the first time I’ve tried such a delicious burger. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique dining experience. Thank you!

WOLF Burger & Steak Bar is a fantastic spot for quality burgers and local beers.
The outdoor seating makes it even better, especially on a nice evening like today. They serve top quality meat, have a good selection of local brews, and the staff are extremely friendly. You feel welcome the moment you arrive. A place where you just get the feel good vibe.

this place maybe looks like any average burger restaurant, but you would be surprised!
this is on of the best burgers we’ve tried. the meat was tender and juicy, the ingredients fresh and delicious and the buns were incredible, truly great. soft, yet not too soft, favourful, yet not overpowering, a great compliment to the rest of the burger.
we all ordered similar burgers (i can’t remember any of the names but one)
thr master (chersburger with 3 patties) combined meat weight of 540g
a double cheesburger, a regular cheese burger, a chicken burger and the regular vegetarian option.
everyone liked their burgers very much. ‘the master’ was quite menacing and stood tall among the others, yet i’d compare the eating experience and taste to the double cheesburger.
the both couldn’t really be consumed by hand and had to be cut into several small pieces.
the other three burgers (with just a singular patty) were consumed by hand and that eas no issue.
we also all ordered a side dish, most of them being fries. they tastes good, yet nothing special compared to the burgers.
one of usbgot the “chilly fries” which were just fries with a bit of stronger/ ‘spicier’ seasoning. i say spicy in quotes because they had no kick and weren’t really spicy at all.
also I ordered the onion rings, everyone got to try, as I also was the one that ordered the master burger and my plate was quite full as one might expect haha.
everyone LOVED the onion rings. even my sister, who usually dislikes onions seems that she kinda liked them.
overall very great restaurant with fast and very friendly service.

The service there was amazing. Everyone was nice and we got seated quickly despite how busy it was. The black bun was a bun dyed with squid ink and I thought it was pretty fancy so I decided to get it. I believe the bread was a little too thick for my liking but it was still good. The meat was cooked medium and all of the juicy flavors from the burger could be tasted. The Mac n cheese tasted American made as there was enough cheese throughout the plate and it was baked. Didn’t taste like it was put in a pot and just melted. The beef shoulder was very good too but just a little dry. Other than that this place was amazing and I’d 100% go back.

Decided on steak instead of burger and was recommend to try their Wolf Steak as it was one of their signature.
It was really good. Tender and flavorful with their own marinated/sauce on top. I had a side of fries with it.
Had their own locally brewed larger and it went well with the steak.
Give it a try when you’re in Lucerne!

I have heard that the place was good before but now I can experience it myself and turned out it is the truth that restaurant is great!
Location is easy to find; only some minutes from the main train station of Luzern.
About the ambience, music was nice with good volume, the decoration is classy but very cozy. They have inside and outside dinning area. For some people, it could be a little bit “not so spacious” but for us, it is enough.
I, myself have “Good Hunter” Burger with dark bun – was super fresh, tasty and I like it. In the description, there was mushroom written; however, I missed the taste of it. The medium Patty was juicy and good made.
Service is nice and fast. Youth vibe and very caring.
Overall: very worth to try and good price good quality.
100% recommended for everyone!
