There wasnt a waite at all. It was dinner time
Our server was nice and pretty good. She could have stopped by sooner after we received our meal we had some questions.
The salad bar was very good. We received our meal BEFORE OUR APPETIZER.
The pasta and sauce was really tasty but was very disappointed in the prime rib bites that came in it.
It was cooked too much for our liking. But mainly in was tuff. Through and through.
I ended up taking most of my home to our bull dog.
The appetizer was absolutely fantastic.
We ordered the chacha crab dip with bread dippers.
It was worth the trip. I mean really good
My meal came with a margarita..on the rocks. It was decent.
Now i absolutely love gumbo ..USUALLY.
THERES WAS NOT SATISFACTION AT ALL. I took a couple bites as did my date and didnt touch the rest. We ordered a bowl because we read it was an old tried and true recipe. But i heard afterwards that it was liked by a number of people we know.
So thats not a do over.
They have a large giftshop.
Looked nice by we didnt shop.
They have a Sunday brunch i understand. May be will try it one day.
Moore Stars?!
Fantastic meal to start my Christmas Holiday week visiting my family in Foley Alabama… literally ready to head back tomorrow for lunch.
Dinner Tonight: 3 Option Platter with sides and fresh salad bar. Popcorn Shrimp with the house made cocktail sauce (excellent), Grilled Butterfly Shrimp (no sauces needed), Blackened Whitefish (tritail) – Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potato with Cinnamon Butter. Ya’ll – this is good eating.
Wonderful environment – kind and considerate staff – a great gift shop – and a full belly.
This experience is what a restaurant should be. A meal that leaves you with a fond memory.
For me, this was kind of hit or miss with regard to the food. The salad bar was good and had a decent selection of options. The lobster chowder was excellent! I’m glad I ordered the Fisherman’s platter but at $40 it seems expensive for the amount/quality of food. The shrimp was good but the cocktail sauce was phenomenal – loved the horseradish kick! Whitefish was fresh and tasty but the stuffed crab (and stuffed shrimp) were mostly bland and mediocre. Overall we enjoyed the meal.
Even though the place was busy, we got seated within a few minutes and our service was on point. Overall the staff was extremely friendly.
