A gem in the middle of a strip mall. We stoped in spontaneously after shopping and were happy to see vegetarian options. Their tofu teriyaki dish was generously portioned and very tasty! As was the tofu fried rice dish. Also very flavorful and plentiful. The egg soup and hot tea were welcome on a cold rainy day. Atmosphere was welcoming. Clean tables and surroundings, and friendly service. Will come back!

I was hungry and I forgot my lunch so I got food here for takeout. Food came with a side salad and I ordered the lunch special chicken teriyaki and katsu.

Oh my gosh! You have got to try this place….on second thought, maybe not because then it will be too busy and I won’t be able to get a seat. Their food is absolutely amazing! We were seated quickly and I really liked the atmosphere. They were playing soft jazz music, which was really nice. The waiter was very friendly and helpful when we were asking about the menu. I ended up ordering the Teriyaki Tofu and my husband got the Kung Pao Tofu, which was wonderful. The tofu was in little bite size pieces and super crispy. The sauce was so good and I wanted to eat the whole plate. The prices were also very reasonable, which is much appreciated. I will definitely come back here again!

Very disappointed with my experience. I ordered chicken wings, an avocado roll, and gyoza.
The gyoza was excellent, but unfortunately the rest was not. The chicken wings were completely flavorless, and the ranch dressing tasted like plain bottled ranch with no seasoning at all.
The avocado roll came with crab meat, which was not mentioned clearly, and I cannot eat seafood. I called the restaurant immediately to explain this, but the response I received was rude and dismissive. I was told, “Of course it has seafood, it’s a sushi roll,” and no effort was made to help or offer a solution.
Mistakes can happen, but customer service matters. This experience showed a lack of care for customer concerns. I would not return based on how this situation was handled.

This place is EXCELLENT! I definitely recommend it. My kids (and husband) are picky eaters, but this place always has them licking their plates . They give you a cup of soup to start with every meal before your plate arrives. And if u ask for hot tea, it’s free.

Had the spicy chicken. Not very hot but I love spicy food so it was solid with some sriracha. Very courteous staff. Great portion and the chicken had broccoli, carrots, onions and green onions Salad dressing was a win.

Ordered chow mein and got yakisoba. Why have two different dishes on the menu if youre just gonna serve the one. Unfortunately didn’t know until picked up and brought home. Also mushy overcooked.

I wish I could give this o stars! I ordered my food around lunch time and I got the food thinking it was going to be delicious, because of course it looks great. Presentation was good, but when I put the Mongolian Beef in my mouth it was so much salt on it that my tongue was burning. So I thought ok maybe it was an accident and then proceeded to try another part of the food and the same thing, so much salt it could kill a slug. I pray that whoever poured a whole bottle of salt on my food sees this message and gets a good laugh, your mission was accomplished. Business owners should be very careful who they hire to cook, because it could mean you loose business. This establishment has definitely lost my business. I returned the food and got a refund God willing. The older lady that took my order pretended as if though she didn’t understand English when I brought the food back in. Then she acted as if she lost the receipt I handed her. The food may be good if you dine in(I dont know) , but be very weary if you order to go. Never again will I eat there.

The food and the service are outstanding! Best teriyaki place in Tacoma! It is great food and very healthy as I compete in amateur NPC bodybuilding shows I can eat here and feel very happy about it.
