DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I cannot believe people like this food. I stopped going here after I twice got Moo Shu Pork without pancakes (the owner does not offer them) and no plum sauce (they forgot to pack it). I recently returned as I had a craving for shrimp in lobster sauce. Thinking how could a restaurant screw-up shrimp in lobster sauce, I went to Wok-n-Roll in Lawrence and obviously underestimated how badly they could prepare the food. Expecting shrimp wrapped in a lovely, velvety, savory sauce with intact pea pods, what I got did not even come close. What I got was some shrimp in a very thin, watery, runny sauce with small slivers of pea pods and absolutely no umami or taste. There were more chunks of fake lobster than there were shrimp, presumably because the fake lobster (usually an unknown breed of fish) is cheaper than providing fat shrimp. Being fake lobster, it tasted fishy and I hate a fishy taste. Genuine shrimp with lobster sauce does not include lobster.
I paid $30 for shrimp with lobster sauce that came with rice (I chose steamed), an order of crab rangoon and a small vegetable friend rice. Next time I will happily pay $40 for something that actually tastes as advertised. Avoid this place at all costs (and it does cost a lot for bad food).

When you walk in, it feels so welcoming. The woman on this day was so nice answering questions and asking about our day. Carrying small talk and being very cheerful. The food was everything we came for. Unlike other places, Wok & Roll service steaming hot fresh to order food. I had about a 10 minute ride home, and the food was still steaming hot. We will definitely be back.

The food was amazing. We ordered general tso’s chicken, sweet and sour chicken, both with fried rice, fried dumplings, shrimp lo mein, and crab Rangoon. It all exceeded my expectations. Servings were plentiful and the crab Rangoon were FULL! I’m glad I found this place because I will be back! Oh and they value family, they’re off for Thanksgiving and the whole weekend after, those are morals and values I can support!

Whenever the female isnt working the front your orders may not be correct. Idk what it is with attention to detail but only goes well when shes working. Last week order teriyaki chicken, it was right. This week 5 piece crab lagoon, got 4. Place use to be awesome not so much lately

We took a chance since we were on this side of town and were hungry for Chinese food so found Wok & Roll, a very typical takeout place. We wanted to dine in since we were not close to home the cashier was very nice and we ordered the Hunan Chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan. We were pleasantly surprised and the food was delicious, too bad we live in Westfield definitely will check them out again!!

New to the area and always a bit nervous about locating a new Chinese restaurant was quickly eased with Wok & Roll.
Always try to start with a past favorite and just loved the General Tso chicken. Perfectly cooked and sauce spot on. Nice serving amounts as well. Steamed dumplings and pork rolls also very tasty. I was also very impressed with my Beef Lo Mein.
Service friendly and we even received a little extra take out with our order which was nice.
Will certainly be back to try the other offerings at Wok & Roll.

From beginning to end, and excellent experience! The suggestions the ladies behind the counter gave were spot on and absolutely flavorful! I 100% recommend the Singapore Mei fun! I’ll be back soon for more crab rangoon as well!

I got the lunch special, chicken with broccoli. It came with fried rice and an egg roll. The food is great! I recommend it 5/5.
Edit: I went three days in a row. The third day I got the general tso’s lunch special. Amazing! Food is ready in less than 10 minutes and the quality is phenomenal. Nice customer service. I highly recommend this place for lunch. 10/10

Absolutely delicious! This Chinese restaurant exceeded my expectations — the food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend the orange chicken and dumplings. Will definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
