I have been meaning to try the place since Jasmine express closed down and Wok Republic opened up. I was in the mood for Chinese food so l decided to give them a try. The restaurant was very clean inside they rearranged the setup and brightened it up, it only took 15 minutes or so to get my food. I ordered house fried rice, mongolian beef, NY style chow men and the salt and pepper chicken wings. Everything was great food was hot, the only issue was the size of the wings, there were pretty small, but don’t let that discourage you from trying yhis neighborhood spot l will definitely be going back soon.

This was my first time trying this place out. Me and the family agreed the food was great. The place is located right where Jasmine Express use to be. The outside signage hasn’t been updated so don’t be confused if it still says jasmine express. The guy who took my order and checked me out was very nice.
Overall, the food was great. It tasted fresh and the portions were generous. They really packed in the house chow mein, house fried rice, and combination egg foo young, they don’t skimp out. Pricing was very fair in my opinion. Also I’ve never had a pink honey walnut shrimp but it was very flavorful. If we had to be picky, the salt and pepper wings were okay, flavor wasnt for us.
So if you’re in the mood for some solid chinese food I encourage you to try this place out.

I saw the reviews and had to try them. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Very fresh! The potstickers were fresh made, the wrap was thick. We enjoyed the meal. The soup was one of the best I’ve had. I will be returning to try other dishes.

With such great reviews, my family and I wanted to try it. Here from Cali and always looking for a family friendly place to dine. Restaurant was clean. Warm and friendly greeting. Food was yummy. Very fresh and flavorful. Ordered several plates: shrimp fried rice, beef chow mein, beef pepper steak, BBQ ribs and veggie rice. Ribs were tender, glazed and absolutely delicious. Rice was light and filling. Great portions. Family of 5 and left with plenty of leftovers. Would definitely recommend and return again when visiting.

I ordered the eggplant tofu, the egg foo young, and the General Tso’s chicken plate, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The eggplant tofu was tender with great seasoning, the egg foo young tasted super authentic, and the General Tso’s chicken was crispy with just the right amount of sauce. Portions were generous and the staff was friendly and attentive.
Definitely my new go-to spot in the area — can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Just discovered this new Chinese place that just opened, I’m already obsessed. You can tell it’s a mom and pop place and they put effort into all their dishes. You HAVE to try their homemade pot stickers, they’re huge, super filling, with crispy pan-fried dough. The BBQ ribs are also amazing, they come tossed in that sweet Chinese char siu sauce. For a main, I loved their fried rice with BBQ pork and the crispy Hunan Beef. The Hunan Beef has a great crunch and the spicy sauce gives it a nice kick. Will visit again to try new items.

Wok Republic is solid. Food comes out fresh, portions are big, and the flavors actually hit. Service is quick and they stay open every day, which is clutch. Definitely a good go-to spot in North Las Vegas for Chinese takeout.

I moved to Las Vegas about 10 years ago, and ever since then, I’ve honestly never been a big Chinese food lover. There was only one Chinese food place back in California that I truly enjoyed, and after moving here, I just never found anything that compared. Because of that, Chinese food was never something I ate regularly or even craved.
Today, I decided to finally try this Chinese food restaurant, and let me just say… I was blown away. This was hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in a very long time. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. I couldn’t believe how good it was, and it completely changed my opinion on Chinese food in Las Vegas.
I’m so happy to say that I no longer have to drive all the way to California just to enjoy amazing Chinese food. The portions are huge, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even have Thai tea, which is a huge plus. I highly recommend this place and think everyone should give it a try. You will not be disappointed!
