The best Chinese spot I’ve been to! We each got a lunch special, and it came with the soup of the day, an egg roll, and your entree of choice with rice on the side. We got sesame chicken and general jor’s chicken, as well as cream cheese wontons. Amazing value for the serving portions, and everything tasted really fresh! It felt light but filling at the same time! I loved the soup too. I wouldn’t skip this place if I were you!

My wife and I love Wok-King Cafe it is are favorite place for great Chinese food.
The number 7 is awesome! I was in the past disappointed in the hot mustard but keep getting it despite past orders not living up to the hot.
They finally got it right! Since the first time! Great job! The ham fried rice is ham fried the rice was just that! Ham Rice and nothing but what makes it great.
No corn or peas. Thank you!

We also was love coming here for their sweet and sour chicken. Love how it’s in a fluffy dough. We always get their chicken lo mein. Food comes out fast and hot. We prefer this over other Chinese restaurants.

Ok. I haven’t been to this place since they moved to their current location many years ago. I went to their old location in the 90’s kiddie corner to “Albertsons” on 9000 south Redwood road. Back in the day this was the go to place for Chinese food in the West Jordan/South Jordan area. This is where I first tried and fell in love with the General Chicken! They used to put broccoli in it back in the day, now it’s just chicken deliciousness. It’s the standard that I judge other Chinese General Chicken by. I do miss their old location and how big their dining room was but post-covid, it’s just easier to grab take out and this trip did not disappoint. Dining is available there, but it is fairly small
I took photos of the takeout container and it’s stuffed full of food. I spoke with the owner and it’s still the same family serving great food. If I live closer, I’d probably visit once a week. Thanks Wok-King for serving great Chinese food all these years!!!

It’s good, cheap Chinese food. There’s nothing fancy about it, but the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the food was hot. I got the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken combo with ham fried rice. The Mongolian chicken was perfectly spicy and the sweet and sour chicken was delicious. The rice wasn’t bad, but it didn’t seem like there was a ton of effort put into it.
It’s not somewhere I would travel real far for, but I’m glad I found a local Chinese place I like.

The food was horrible. The fried rice was tasteless and tasted like it was there all day. Order the wonton soup…no wontons only a weak broth and chunky vegetables. Hongkong noodles…ask not to have the shrimp added, they added it could have been a disaster due to sea food allergies. Tried to call them back they were argumentative Not a good place at all.Just not satisfied with this place sad to say but a popular Chinese fast food chain is better.

This used to be our favorite Chinese place but now it is not that great. The best thing about it is it tastes like they use fresh oil when they fry their sweet and sour chicken and pork. Other than that it is just Chinese food.

I absolutely love Wok-King. Best food and service! If you’re looking for a gem, it’s here! Their egg drop soup never disappoints and the sesame chicken is divine. Our whole family loves it here. Thanks Wok-King.

I really love the food here. Their chow mein is some of the best I have had. The prices are good, and portions are big. This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Sandy, UT area.

We decided to try this place because our last favorite Chinese started delivering us cold and overcooked food the last 5 times we ordered from them.
This place is not good at all. The meat is overcooked and chewy in all 3 dishes (beef, chicken and ham. There is a gross flavor in the fried rice. There’s no flavor and a gross flavor at the same time. The 2 lo mein dishes are bleh, meh and ugh. The only good thing is the doneness of the noodles. The flavor is lacking. I’m very disappointed. Especially because of how much it costs, and we are throwing it all away.
Those who says it’s really good “authentic” Chinese food are people who haven’t had anything better tasting to eat than fast food, and probably haven’t left Utah.
