Update 10/25. Came by for my favorite Chinese American dishes. The jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken. Both still were very tender and flavorful, though they had a bit more soy sauce than before. See the two pictures maybe a year apart. Pretty sure the elderly chef wasn’t the one who cooked my lunch that day. The price remained reasonable, and now there’s a small surcharge for beef options.
For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.

My family usually orders the Family Meal from here and it is more than enough food for 4 people, as we usually have leftovers after each of us has had their fill. One thing I found interesting is that the Crispy Shrimp is in the shape of a ring. Their BBQ Beef and BBQ Chicken entrees are served on top of cooked cabbage. The Macaroni Salad isn’t my favorite thing here, but the entrees that can be included in the Family Meal make up for it.

How can I miss this place. This plate can feed 2 adults or 3 kids for $10.30 including tax. Food taste fresh and yummy even before closing. Definitely will go there again. Best price to portion in town.

I really enjoy their chicken katsu plate. The katsu sauce pairs well with the katsu and it’s self served. The restaurant is clean and offers a variety of food items. Fresh and also friendly service.

Order the pepper steak got more onion and pepper than steak. Wish I can upload the picture to show much onions and pepper was served vs how little meat is mixed in. 60% onions, 25% pepper, 15% meat. Not acceptable in my opinion.
