We got carry out of some hot and sour soup, General Tso Chicken and cashew chicken.
The hot and sour soup is very tasty. Good flavors and the right amount of heat.
The General Tso Chicken pieces were really big. The chicken needs to be cut into smaller pieces. The sauce had the right amount of heat but tasted like there was oil in it. The breading on the chicken needs to be crispier. The broccoli was cooked perfectly.
The cashew chicken was delicious. Great flavors, maybe a bit more sauce. We really liked the crunchy carrots and celery pieces.
Looking forward to trying other dishes.

UPDATE… swing & a miss… Picked up an order today… Chewy fried rice leads me to believe my fried rice was made with left over lunch special fried rice… Booooo…. do better please.
This place continues to get better! They do have their off days, but it’s getting better. I would say best takeout in 63021. If they could just get their fried rice dialed in like the Maryland Heights location…it would be GREAT!

I saw their sign I stopped in for a bite to eat, I ordered a lunch special General Tso’s Chicken with fried rice and Crab Rangoon and it was hot and very tasty. We have found a new great takeout restaurant for Chinese food! Thanks!

I ordered Hunan Chicken Mild what I received was Hunan Chicken spicy). It was a waste of my money. I can not eat really spicy food it hurts my stomach. The Other restaurant that I have ordered from and received Hunan Chicken from made it mild no problem. I thought I would give Wok Express my business and try their food. That was a big mistake. I will not be ordering from Wok Express again. When a customer is paying for food they should accommodate the customer and not make it so spicy. It’s not like I asked to have extra ingredients added just one taken out. I was also missing my two containers of red sweet & sour sauce. One was suppose to come with my crab ragunes and one extra That I paid extra for one I paid extra for but received neither one. This whole experience was terrible. I will not waiste my money at this restaurant again.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I ordered sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice. The sweet-and-sour sauce is basically red water and flavorless. The chicken is overcooked to the point that there’s hardly any chicken left in the breading. The fried rice is bland and dry. The only good item is the crab Rangoon. A waste of money.

Been eating here since I was 12 years old! That is over 30 years! Have always loved the fried rice. I have seen so many faces come and go over the years however I still have never met the owner 🙂 So strange. I highly recommend this Chinese food to anyone and look forward to another 30 years.

Second time trying this place and not worth it. Frled rice has only couple of eggs in it that’s it. Sweet and Sour chicken is only battered chicken, no veggies or pineapple only red sauce!!! Never had anything so bland.
Ask for lots of sauce packets and get two. I’ll keep driving out of my way to the Chinese restaurant in Wildwood.
