Food: Wings were good. Pizza is classic New York style and on the greasy side, so know what you’re ordering.
Service: Cafeteria style ordering with food brought to the table; beer is ordered separately at the bar. Service was friendly but slow.
Bottom line: Worth it for wings, pizza, and a cold beer if you have time to spare, skip it if you’re on a tight schedule.
I would definitely come back again
I really wanted to love this spot in downtown Bryson City, but my visit over Labor Day Weekend 2025 was a letdown.
The Lowlights:
The Pizza: This is definitely the worst restaurant pizza I’ve ever been served in my life. It was undercooked, greasy, and felt more like a frozen/reheated product cooked on a conveyor, rather than fresh dough, house-made sauce, high-quality cheese. As shown in my picture, it was floppy, swimming in its own grease, and had way too much cheese. Nothing like I was expecting, but it was cheap at least. The taste was “off” and I regret ordering two slices. Very disappointing!
The Wait: Despite plenty of open tables, it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered. The restaurant was not busy; we arrived well before the dinner rush. At one point we went to check on our food and as soon as I got up to inquire, it magically arrived at the table. Many other guests ordered after us and received their food before we did. Our order was not complicated — two pizza slices, and a chicken parm hero with fries. Definitely not worth the wait.
Service: Not warm or attentive whatsoever; no one checked on us during the long delay. The restaurant was visibly dirty, and our table felt sticky. There was one self-serve refill station for drinks shared by the restaurant. Our server did not even bring us our food or check on it once we had it. However, she did have time to spend half an hour talking to the patrons of another table about sports.
The Highlights:
Other Menu Items: The chicken parm sub and the chicken tenders with fries were actually solid and much better than the pizza. I would definitely order them again.
Pro-Tip: If you are in Bryson City and absolutely craving Italian food, this is one of many options within a stone’s throw, so your mileage may vary. If you do order pizza, be sure to specify exactly how you want it cooked. Otherwise, stick to the subs and tenders!
I’m open to giving them another shot in the future on trips to the Smoky Mountains, but I’ll temper my expectations.
I followed up with a garden salad topped with chicken. Solid greens, but heads-up: that chicken was obviously pre-cooked and packaged—texture and taste give it away. Basic, serviceable, but not fresh-cut.
The chicken sandwich? Just okay—nothing special, hits the baseline, but doesn’t stand out.
This place shows it’s worth a stop if you want wings on the go, but don’t expect a full scratch-made lineup. Cool atmosphere, friendly enough staff, and reasonably priced. If I’m craving wings next time, I’ll be back—just not necessarily for the extras.
