Unfortunately didn’t get a picture of the food but it was amazing and so was the entire experience! I loved both the chicken and veggie quesadillas, also highly recommend the mozzarella sticks. Water was nice and also saw a snapping turtle! Finished it off with an ice cream sandwich. Will come back again

Visited Kiva Island for lunch and to launch our kayaks, and the experience was excellent. The location is easy to access from the water, the staff were organized, and the overall setup made it simple to drop in and explore the area by kayak. The food was solid and came out quickly, which works well for people who are in and out for outdoor activities.
They also had a full Christmas Santa’s workshop display, including a functioning snow machine. It’s an unexpected feature for a Florida spot and adds a unique seasonal atmosphere without interfering with the normal operations.
Overall, the site is well-run, family-friendly, and a convenient base for kayaking with some fun extras this time of year.

This is a great place to hang out and relax. It is a food truck with super yummy stuff. My party and I had different versions of tacos plus fries. The crispy cauliflower tacos are fantastic, served super crisp with cabbage, tomatoes and sauce and a good portion of freshly made corn chips. My daughter had meatless chicken tacos that she loved and my son had the Bang’n Fish Tacos that he said were solidly good. The bar on the same property has a good selection of beer on tap and there is a well priced canoe and kayak rental on the property as well. The best thing about this place is the relaxed waterside atmosphere. What could be better than to sit waterside with some good food, a beer snd friends or family. Pretty great way to spend an afternoon. On the edges of the property are cabanas for rent and we were thinking what a great place this would be for a bachelor/bachelorette party or birthday party for adults.

This is such a cute little cafe on Wekiva Island. The food was both affordable and amazing. My fish sandwich was great and my son loved his fish and chips (and he is a really picky eater). I had to drop a photo of my husband’s tacos and fried nachos because words do not do them justice. There was adequate seating and everything was clean. We will definitely be back on our next kayaking trip.

Dishonest service. I said I wanted one order of two fish tacos. The lady at the window misunderstood and wrung me up for two taco orders. Before she even took my credit card or made the food I explained the miscommunication and asked her to correct the pricing from $32 to the one order of $15. She said she fixed it but didn’t provide me with a receipt. Now of course my credit card says she still charged me double what it should have been. If she couldn’t correct the charge at least be honest about it. I won’t order from there again. Just unacceptable.
