food: i had the smashed onion burger with reg fries. They do have beer options available on the menu and some are seasonal and local breweries near by to. The burger was pretty good. Fries were yummy. My favorite part was the vanilla ice cream. That was a treat!
service: They call your number and then you pick it up at the counter. It gets very busy so seating may not be easily available on a busy day or evening. There is counter tops to sit at or booths or high chairs. When you get dessert, they will give you a separate reciept to pick up when you are done.
ambiance: Feels very 50’s slash modern with the bright colors of red, blue, yellow and white. They have a photo booth to take in the back. They also have seating outside if its cool enough to seat.
Overall: I like it, not bad, worth a check.
Menu is straightforward. You’re here for burgers, fries, shakes, and ice cream.
We as a group ordered:
2x SOBs (smashed onion burgers).2 angus smashed patties, with thin grilled onions, pickles, American cheese, on a martn potato bun and “love sauce”.
2x Classic. 2 black angus smashed patties, American cheese, diced onions, pickles, on a Martin potato bun, and “love sauce”
2 loaded and 1 regular fries. Fries are cooked in beef tallow. The loaded part just comes with diced pickles, onions, cheddar and love sauce.
The burgers are bomb, a super solid burger. The “ribbons” or “laces” shows a really good crust and the texture hits when you take a bite. Fries have a lot of umami and richness from the beef tallow.
100% recommend to come out and try it. If I’m in the area I’ll definitely would be down to come back. Staff is also super friendly and help get whatever you need when they drop off food. Also check out the merch! Hats looks dope!
The burgers were delicious, and the cherry dipped cone was very tasty– tasted just like McDonald’s soft serve.
All in all a great experience. Will definitely come back when the wait times taper off.
The burger itself is a great size, and the bun is lightly toasted while still being soft and pillowy. The patty is extremely well seasoned, which really carries the whole burger, and the toppings are kept minimal in the best way. Less is more here. The pickles were especially well done, not overpowering at all and adding a nice crunch and balance.
The shoestring fries were another standout. They are cooked in beef tallow and seasoned well enough that they honestly do not need any extra salt or pepper. Crispy, flavorful, and easy to keep eating.
The space has a very retro and nostalgic feel, from the color palette to the overall design. It feels curated without trying too hard. Seating is limited, but that makes sense given how popular the place is. Even so, it was not difficult to find a seat by the time our food came out.
Even though ordering is done at the counter, the service was excellent. Staff regularly checked in, brought food out quickly, and were very attentive throughout the meal. Easily 10 out of 10 service.
Hours are also a big plus, staying open until 9pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends, which makes it a great late dinner option. I will definitely be back, especially to try the dessert options.
