Welcome to Wissota Lodge & Event Center, Lake Wissota‘s newest event facility. Our newly remodeled facility sits on the east side of scenic Lake Wissota and was formerly known as Reiter’s Steakhouse. Our seating area overlooks Little Lake Wissota and offers a prime view of the evening sunset. Our upgrades to the facility include Wi-Fi connected television displays, top-of-the-line sound system, full service bar and kitchen. Book a reservation for a daytime business meeting or convention, bachelor or bachelorette party, wedding rehearsal, retirement or graduation party, celebration of life, family reunion and more. Food was really good and flavorful, the fish was pretty over seasoned though. It had a nice flavor but it was incredibly salty. The firecracker shrimp absolutely delicious and I loved the sweet and spicy chili sauce that came with it .

Very curious staff who made sure everything was perfect. Fish special was affordable and delicious! We didn’t have a reservation and were able to be seated pretty fast even though they were busy. Recommend a reservation on Fish Fridays

Wife and went for our anniversary, Nice atmosphere, fast friendly service, I ordered prime rib medium rare, served cut was medium to medium well, returned to kitchen, within several minutes new piece delivered to table, was medium rare, but uneven cut, somewhat tough, and flavor was poor. Wife ordered Cajun blackened shrimp meal which she said was excellent, had grasshopper for dessert which was also excellent.

We stopped at Wissota Lodge for the first time on Friday night as it’s close to our house and on the way home from work. At 4pm we beat the rush and it was quiet the whole time we were there. We were seated fairly quickly and the view looking over the lake was spectacular!
One of the things that was a bit confusing was the bar/dinner menu. There was food on the website that was not on the dinner menu. Is there a separate menu and separate drink specials just for the bar?? This is very unclear by looking at the website but we didn’t get happy hour drink prices in the restaurant.
My husband and I both ordered the fish— he ordered it battered and I ordered it blackened— his with fries and mine with garlic mashed potatoes. Our dinners also came with the house veg (asparagus) and dinner salads. The fish was $19.95. We both really enjoyed our food!! The fish was giant and cooked perfectly! The batter on the fish was perfectly light. We would definitely return for the fish!
The service was okay… it took a while for our waitress to check on us after we got our food and it seemed they were busy setting up tables for the evening. Also, I do think it’s unprofessional for service staff to be on their phones in the dining room.
Even with these hiccups we will return because the food was that good.

Food and service were fabulous! The jalapeño poppers are SO GOOD. All of our food was hot and delicious. Ice cream drinks were excellent. Definitely will be back.

We went for dinner and reserved a window table. We were seated quickly and the server worked hard to meet our needs. I had the bone in ribeye cooked medium rare. It was juicy and delicious. They use fresh mushrooms and the batter fries were crunchy. The only negative is the noise. When busy, there isn’t much to absorb the loudness and it can be complex to chat while eating.

The prime rib was delicious, as was my wife’s shrimp and the lobster bisque. They make a great bourbon Old Fashioned too. Nice atmosphere with a great view of Lake Wissota.

It was our first time at the Wissota Lodge for dinner tonight, and we will definitely be back. We had amazing service from beginning to end. We had jalapeño poppers for an appetizer that had some kick to them but were the best I’ve had around this area. I went with the Chicken breast with a creamy gouda sauce, garlic mashed, and asparagus. It was an excellent choice, very flavorful, and light. We are looking forward to our next time at the lodge! Thank you for the excellent service!

This dinner was my pick it wax Sunday for dinner. Waitress was new so service was slow and poor keep trying girl you’ll get the hang of it. I had 1/2 rack of ribs so dry and meat was hard. My people had the cajun pasta and the Alfredo both good but could of had more sauce. Brandy Alexander for dessert and was amazing. It’s now off the list for dinner
