What an awesome addition to the Ambler area brewery scene. I enjoyed two seasonal, an oatmeal raisin ale and a 6% chocolate pastry stout. For dinner we shared the kale and beet salad and a sausage white pizza. Everything was fabulous. Evelyn, our server was very welcoming and knew a lot about the beer. She seems excited about the future of this new outpost for Wiss Brewing. Welcome to the neighborhood!

WOW! Wissahickon Brewing Company is a staple in my household, and the Maple Glen location exceeded all of my expectations!!! It has a great atmosphere, the staff is amazing, and the food and beer is top notch. Great go to spot to watch Philly sports too! Get there ASAP!

This was our fist visit and I was hoping it would delight since it’s pretty close to home. It did! The mussels were very good and the foccacia that came with it was so good I continued dipping long after I was full. My friend had a salad with vinaigrette and liked it. The favorite for us both was the eggplant stuffed with sausage. Lots of flavor, perfect texture, soooo good! My friend isn’t crazy about eggplant or sausage and said she’ll order it next time. We had a terrific waitress. Fun and friendly, there when we needed but not intrusive. Looking forward to returning.

The food is surprisingly good for a place that presents as a neighborhood brewery. The best mussels I’ve had in years, every sandwich and pizza my wife and I have ordered was excellent. The brick oven pizzas are a standout. And if you’re not familiar with their beers, drinkable, solid examples of each style. We always take some daybreak to go. And they’re very accommodating with our two kids!

As soon as I entered I felt an immediate connection to this place! The bar is nice and big with plenty of seats with TVs all around for watching a game. Great place to meet friends or family or to meet new people…just has that friendly atmosphere. The bartenders and servers are top notch and the food is delicious with lots of great options.
Wissahickon Brewing Co has turned me into an IPA lover! Nothing like a fresh brewed beer to share with friends!
Great vibe!

Definitely happy to see this building repurposed as Wissahickon Brewing, especially when so many non-chain restaurants are closing. We support small business!
We’ve been twice and both times food and beer were very good. We like the IPAs on tap (especially Devils Pool). We enjoyed grilled carrots and whipped ricotta during our first visit. On our 2nd visit (on Christmas Eve) we enjoyed our bartender Evelyn (!) and our Margherita pizza.
Yes the menu is currently limited but we have enjoyed what we’ve ordered and will return and order the same.
We’ll be there NYeve with friends from Philly!
Welcome to our neighborhood Wissahickon Brewing!

Went the day after new years and had a tremendous experience. We had a few apps and a variety of beers. Apps and beer were great but watching the other food coming out of the kitchen made we want more.
The best part about this restaurant are the people. The three bartenders were all knowledgeable and just “real” normal people that simply wanted us to have an enjoyable time.
Even the hostess and woman rolling silverware made us feel welcome.
Then i got to meet the gm, chef and the owner and his wife. Not kidding, met all during our visit, and they were so nice! I complemented the gm on his great music selection and happened to have the owner and his wife dining next to us. After meeting all of them i figured out why i enjoyed myself so much. They are a great team, producing great food and beer, that want their guests to truly enjoy the time spent at their restaurant. A group of real people that enjoy working together. So freakin refreshing. We can’t wait to go back. Top notch!!

My husband and I were looking for a quick bite to eat and tasty beer before doing some Christmas shopping. We were very impressed with Wissahican brewing company at Maple Glen. The staff was outstanding. Evelyn, our bartender was very attentive and was also super helpful and helping us choose excellent tasting craft beers from their very own brewery. 10 out of 10, could not recommend this place more. Also the general manager, John, Introduced himself and even gave us tastings of other offerings that they had on tap. Very passionate are and investing in making a great place for people to come in the area! Again, wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Very busy on our visit, the meatballs and the broccoli and sausage pizza were delicious. Bar table service was slow but like I said it was very busy so it was understandable. We had the Pink Anchovy and Hail Mary IPA’S and they were both very good. We will definitely stop back if in the area.

May be unpopular review but it’s an average place hence the 3 stars. Not great, not bad. For starters, definitely doesn’t feel like a brewery. It’s a pizza oven restaurant feel. Then the prices….$8 for a 13oz beer. That’s equivalent to a $10 pint. We’re not in the city, this is maple glen. There are other breweries in the area with good beer at a much more sensible price point. We went on 2nd weekend they were open and while there was a line to get in, turnover was obvious at the bar. People had one and left, just like us. Menu wasn’t appealing enough for us to stay and eat even though we were hungry. Chatted with a couple who were there for their 2nd visit and both times they said food was just “ok”. We were really excited for a new spot in the area but unfortunately I dont feel the need to go back as a regular.
