Wisner Bar- a Full Service Industrial Vintage style Bar in Nixa, Mo serving local craft beer, specialty cocktails, margaritas and more. The History: WA Barney and Louis Wisner purchased the 203 E. Mt. Vernon property on March 28th, 1958, WA Barney Wisner and his wife Louise constructed the Wisner Feed Mill within 6 months, prompting substantial agricultural development in Nixa during the 1950s, and 1960’s; Barney was an excellent investor and delivered his own feed (he was one of the original investors in the Nixa Bank in 1958); he was known to many locals as a great businessman, and as he got older, he eventually sold the feed mill to the Deffenderfer brothers On Sept 15, 1976.

The staff here is amazing! They are so friendly, patient and hard working. Ryan, Augustus and Logan make the bar so enjoyable with their conversation and drink suggestions. We come every week at least once or twice and look forward to seeing them.

This review is about Kaylin, the bartender I had tonight. I went for Singo and it was packed. She was the bartender my end of the bar and the poor girl was slammed. During our conversation (when she could) she said she’d been there most of the day and was now working a double, but she didn’t mind because she stayed busy and she liked her job. This girl kept her positive attitude the entire time I was there, joking with customers and staff the entire time. I’ve managed people my entire adult life and know a good employee when I see one. She made my visit fun and entertaining and I know others felt the same. She did a great job!

These mixed drinks are so good I briefly considered proposing to the bartender. Top notch cocktails, service smoother than jazz, and a staff that treats you like royalty—if royalty got tipsy and overshared.
Came in for one drink… three later, I was planning a goat sanctuary and swearing I could salsa dance. I’m not proud, but I am impressed.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else unless they open a franchise in my living room.

Food and drinks are always great here! Sophia is so fun and a great server! The Greek bowls are my favorite. I always get an amaretto sour which is delicious and on point! Parking is somewhat limited, but that’s always a good thing, means they are busy!
