My mom, sister and I just went into Wishes this afternoon because we saw this place on Instagram. It claimed to be “the best burger in Grand Rapids” and let me tell you the burger did NOT disappoint. We got a burger each and all loved it! The fries have an incredible seasoning on it. But we were told next time to try the cheese fries! Highly recommend this place if you want to have a great burger, good fries and great customer service! Dez does a wonderful job – go in and see him today! 🙂

Diamond in the rough. Very bold and savory burger. WOW!! I highly recommend trying them out. I’m very tempted to label this place the new best burger in Grand Rapids.
– Double Burger – $5: Made medium, VERY juicy, cheesey, greasy, and all around amazing. The seasonings are bold, deep, powerful, and unique. I asked and he has previous experience with spices and seasonings and this is his own blend. The toppings were good and balanced. It was very fresh and SUPER hot (temperature). The bun was a bit torn and small and over toasted on a part of it, but otherwise fine.
It was a SUPER great value. Honestly, the burger by itself is worth more than he charges.
– Service: Very friendly and inviting.
– Atmosphere: This place is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall place. It is an old building with a few wire chairs and tables. It seemed to have a few other things going on that were not running like ice cream and party decorations. That said, it was fairly clean and there was plenty of room. It was still comfortable.
I asked since it was not posted. They are open 11am-9pm everyday except Sunday when they are open 11am-7pm instead.
– Conclusion: I HIGHLY recommend this burger (at least once), though the environment isn’t perfect.
Visited on a Wednesday at 3pm and Saturday at 1pm.

I’ve been twice and was impressed with my burger both times! Hand formed patty, lots of flavor, cooked just right! Fries were really good too! My favorite burger in GR right now And I haven’t even had their sweet yet.

My wife and I just bought a house in Boston Square area. Was recommended to this place for burgers.Super good vibes. I’d have to say out of all the burgers I’ve had in Grand Rapids and throughout the country as an over the road truck driver this is my favorite by far. Highly recommend this place.

Went here with my son for the first time. It was small, only room for a few tables but the person that took our order (to go) was very nice. The food was good, we got cheeseburgers with the fries. It tasted awesome. We will be back again. If you’re in that area, give them a try. Im sure you won’t be disappointed.

Great burger! Incredibly juicy and not stingy with condiments though so don’t wear a white shirt! The decor is still a little sparse inside, I look forward to seeing him grow into the space. Til then I think I’ll keep it as a takeout fave

Excellent burger, plenty of fries with a serving of ketchup. Get a can of Faygo with a combo. Good price for the food, will definitely be back and do reccomend you check him out.
