We came in for the first time tonight for a drink and snack. The service was prompt, professional and very, very friendly. Our drinks were well made and reasonably priced. We had the potatoes pave and Thai shrimp dumplings as appetizers. They were both excellent and a very generous serving of each! Our only recommendation would be offering a sweet chili sauce for the dumplings and a sour cream (dill? horseradish?) sauce for the potatoes. We thoroughly enjoyed it, Liberty Hill is blessed to have them, we will be back!

The menu truly has something for everyone, whether you’re craving comfort food or something a little more unique. The handcrafted drinks are outstanding and definitely not weak. I tried the peanut butter and jelly cocktail, and it instantly became my favorite, it’s very creative and surprisingly delicious.
The shrimp wontons were wonderfully different and packed with flavor, a standout appetizer you will not find just anywhere. For entrées, I had both the shepherds pie and the hangover burger, and they were equally fantastic, hearty, satisfying, and clearly made with care. The donut buns on the burger were just the right balance of sweet and savory.
This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. I will absolutely be coming back again and again.

My husband and I were looking for a new date night spot in Liberty Hill and decided to try Wish Kitchen + Bar — and we are SO glad we did. Everything about this place was amazing. The food was hands down some of the best we’ve had at a mom-and-pop restaurant. The drinks were incredible, and the overall vibe was super welcoming and cozy. We felt right at home which was so nice after a long week. My husband got the Hangover Burger, which came on an actual doughnut (yes… a doughnut ), and it was insanely good. I ordered the BLT, and it was fresh, flavorful, and honestly one of the best BLTs I’ve had.
Shoutout to our server Bradley — he was awesome. Super friendly, cracking jokes with us, and always making sure we were good. The service really made the night even better. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxed date night spot with amazing food and great service, this place is a must. We will definitely be back with the family!

Great atmosphere. Very welcoming with that “you’re at home” feeling. Service was great. Very attentive. The foods delicious. Tons more to try but you for sure want to get the potato pave and shrimp wontons were delicious. Tons of flavor. Also do not pass on the fried ice cream!

I “wish” I would have found this place sooner! Ive been in this downtown area many times, and this place is a much needed contribution to the local vibe! This place is a quaint and cozy restaurant and bar. Fair amount of seating and large bar for the space provided. We brought our 4mo old, with stroller, and had plenty of space without encroaching of other patrons space. I was impressed with the quity of food, and attentiveness to our needs and comfort. The entire staff (not just our waitress) were involved with our table, insuring we were satisfied and comfortable. I’ll gladly come back again, and definitely recommend this new place to anyone looking for quality food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Wish is just what LH needed. They have great food, fantastic drinks and the service is next level excellent. Its family owned and operated by a restaurateur that has a lifetime of experience. I have a feeling these guys will need a bigger space soon with the quality of food and experience they provide. I Wish they got here sooner! We are happy to have this place as a viable food and drinks option locally. Give them a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Had the best experience at Wish Kitchen and Bar today. We had the potato pave, shrimp wontons, chips and queso among other things. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. From the server Gabby to the bartender Bradley. They kept our drinks full. They were very hospitable always asking if we needed anything. Whether you live close or have to drive a distance it is worth the trip. Don’t believe me come out and try it for yourself.

I had the Hangover Burger, Old Fashioned, and the Frozen Espresso Martini. The burger was surprisingly awesome. I never thought a donut bun on a burger with pepper jack cheese would be so good but they made this oddety a hit for me. The old fashioned was made with the love and more importantly with the Bulleit Rye that any expert would regard with favor. Finally, the Espresso Martini was like a milkshake for adults. I highly recommend this place. Also, the people are some of the greatest.
