I am a sucker for Polish food and was excited to try Wioletta’s. The building is an old Applebee’s that has been nicely updated.
The staff was pleasant and attentive. I was seated as ordered a piwo (Zywiec). I also had a great borscht soup and a rather bland beef croquet.
I also ordered the polish platter for my main dish which had a great polish sausage, golabki, hunters stew (really good) mashed potatoes and some pierogi. I was a tad disappointed in the pierogi because they were only steamed and not fried. They also were served with some reduced bacon fat which was a first for me and definitely was not my favorite way to be served pierogi.
Overall, I had a ok experience and was glad to have some authentic polish food available around Milwaukee. When I return again I would try the fried pork chop and ask for the pierogi to be fried.

The most delicious, authentic, just like mom made meal ever! The food was served as a lovely presentation. Temperature was perfect for eating. Portions were plentiful. We shared the pierogi platter, goulash and stuffed cabbage. All 3 were generous portions and superb! Pricing was standard for today’s restaurant norms but the portions outweigh the price by far! Our server, Terri, was so kind and supported all our crazy questions! She was very efficient and attentive.
I highly recommend this restaurant

5/5 Stars – Finally, real Polish comfort food in the Milwaukee area!
Tonight I decided to check out Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen, the only dedicated Polish restaurant around Milwaukee (technically in Oak Creek, but worth the short drive). I’m pretty picky when it comes to new spots—I’m usually the one cooking at home—and I’m on keto, so I’m always cautious about eating out.
I went with the Pork Shank with double mashed red beets, and wow… it was absolutely delicious! The portion was generous, the meat was tender and flavorful, everything tasted homemade and authentic, and it came out hot and fast. Best of all, the price was super reasonable. I was blown away on my very first visit, and I can already tell I’m going to become a regular.
The staff speaks Polish too, which made it feel like a little slice of home. This place is a true Polish gem in the Milwaukee area — I highly recommend it to anyone craving genuine, hearty Polish cooking!
One small suggestion for the owners: It would be amazing to have some Polish music playing in the background to complete the vibe. And since I’m a 100% polish I would add more good butter and sour cream for the mashed potato
Other than that, everything was spot-on. Can’t wait to go back! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in — you won’t be disappointed!
Wioletta’s Polish Kitchen is definitely filling a big gap in Milwaukee’s food scene with this authentic, welcoming spot. Gorąco polecam!

Food was excellent and service was good at the bar. Walking in told 30min wait unless we eat at bar. So we did. Wierd thing was there were empty tables. Not sure those were reserved for reservations at certain times or lack of staff. While we ate, tables did sit empty and people did wait to be seated. We ordered one of the main dishes and asked for potato pancakes vs. Potato of the day. We were told no substitutes!!! But food was great n bartender was attentive and helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is good. Mushroom soup was great!!! Ask for bread, that is good with the soup. Zubr beer was good.Breaded pork chop was good again no substitute for potatoes. Polish plate a good sampling of various Polish specialties.

As a South Side Polish guy, I’ve eaten my fair share of Polish food, and this spot pretty much nailed it across the board. The standout for me was the stuffed cabbage the sauce was absolutely on point. The pierogies were excellent too; personally, I’d love them even more if they were pan-fried with a little crisp on the outside, but honestly, they’re still really good as is. The beer selection was impressive, the prices were solid, and you really can’t beat the service top-notch all around.

I have loved Wioletta’s deli, so was excited to learn about their restaurant! The service was great, and it is a classic-looking establishment. I liked the unique Polish beer options, and the one I ordered was so refreshing! It was great that they included the type of beer and ABV in the menu to help choose.

I ordered the pierogi platter, because I am a pescatarian (so I don’t eat any animal meats except for fish), so it was the only main dish option available to me. It was good, but I had to give four of the meat-filled pierogi to someone else. I wish there were a fish or fully vegetarian option on the menu, but I do understand that they have just opened so probably want to keep the menu small.

My husband had the fresh polish sausage, which he really enjoyed. He especially liked the dill-topped boiled potatoes.

Me and my friend stopped in for a quick dinner and to our discovery Wioletta’s was very nice. The restaurant atmospher was subtle, quaint and welcoming. The food was phenomenal and the presentation was impressive. I will recommend trying the Farmer’s Soup was very delectable. This was our first time but definitely not our last.

I clearly will be back many times to enjoy this food again with friends and family. I would very much recommend this restaurant if you are thinking of eating here.

We were here on a Sunday night for dinner. We had heard great reviews on the next-door app.
Host was a nice young man with a warm and welcoming personality. Bartender was an energetic man with a friendly personality.
There were 2 folks at the bar along with 4 others (staff) and then 3 servers. When we were leaving, about 730, a party of 3 came in. They waited a few minutes before someone came to seat them.
Rolls are brought to table. Husband asked if it was same price for Virgin Mary as a Bloody Mary ($9) answer was yes, same price. He did not order one.
I had the tomato noodle soup (very hot and very good) polish sausage (good) with the cold slaw (good) and the mashed potatoes with gravy (warm at best)
Husband had the meatball (very good) the hot cabbage and bacon (excellent) and mashed potatoes (warm at best)
We wished there would have been an option to get another side vs mashed potatoes. A side of broccoli or carrots for folks who can’t indulge in carbs and gravies, or another option.
Plates are neatly plated with a flower for presentation.
We wished our server would have been out in view as we were trying to get her attention to warm the potatoes and ask for another beverage. I finally asked another server who was vacuuming next to us, if she would be able to get another drink- she was a friendly (tall, dark hair) and warm person who was more than happy to help. It was too late to ask for warm potatoes do I took them home.
Our waitress, Raeann (sp) maybe? Was a nice gal but not very attentive on checking back. It wasn’t busy during this time but she was in back most of our visit. Just didn’t feel the love on this visit. The gals were doing cleaning while we were there and very thorough they were! It would have been better not to be so close to customers with a vacuum. Or after 7, seat folks all in same section and clean further away.
The ambience was nice and all the lit lanterns on the table were nice. Linen tablecloths and napkins tell you this is a nice restaurant. We’ll be back for another meal in the future. Hope there are some options for sides then!
