Has a great stop me and my friend made. So glad we went. Classic American diner feel, the food was top notch. Also the prices were really good. We got some chicken sandwiches and split a skyscraper shake (highly recommended) it was a stop we weren’t to sure about. But at the end we left stuffed and in a good mood. Place could use some fixing up, but nothing to much to complain about.

First time at Winstead’s and it was memorable. The air conditioning wasn’t working, so it was a bit warm but we still chose to sit inside. I felt bad for the workers, they had to have been roasting. However, despite the heat the server was very polite and friendly. The food came out quickly and the fries were fresh. The grilled chicken was good and my other guests said the burgers were fantastic and just at they remember.

Pretty good food. Service left much to be desired. I will concede there was one small child with us however he’s pretty well behaved so…. Burger was amazing, and you have to get a cherry limeade when you visit. It’s just so different and amazing. Pretty much life-changing. Great food! Our server was Darrell, he was awful! I got the impression that we were putting him out by being there because he would rather provide excellent service to everyone else but us. We waited 20 minutes for him to come get the money to pay for our meal and ended up going up to the counter to get the check taken care of. He was still rude until we walked out the door and the restaurant was NOT busy at all. This is not the first time we have had bad service at this location. It’s too bad because the food is pretty good.

Went in for a quick burger, tots and a shake. Food was delicious and the server was very kind! Wish the Winstead’s closest to me didn’t close down years ago, because eating here just reminded me how much I enjoy it!

An historic local diner that could definitely use a good cleaning. The folks were pleasant enough though the service was very slow. The food was ok, not amazing, smaller portions and nothing too special in taste or quality. If I bought it from a gas station, this is about what I’d expect. If it were cleaner I’d be more forgiving, even the reasonable pricing can’t overcome grimy floors and sticky booths/tables.

Main item is a burger, single, double or triple. Everything is Ala cart, if you want fries they are extra or onion rings. The price is very good 2 of us ate for $15. The burgers tasted good, and service was good.
We missed breakfast, stops at 10:30. The breakfast menu is simple but every thing is responsible price.
They also have icecream and shakes available. It’s like stepping into the past.
We will return again nice break from fast food places.
