My family & I stumbled across this incredible bar/steakhouse in a quant little town. I must say the food was absolutely amazing & the service was perfect. I always enjoy a nice glass of wine but their selection was top notch. I had a hard time picking out what I wanted to eat because everything sounded so good. I chose the scallops with the lemon risotto rice & a side salad. 5 stars does not even express how delighted I was. My husband got the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. During our stay we were greeted by the owners Sarah & Jay and they are the sweetest people ever! Although this place is very clean, service with a smile, what I admire the most is that some of their employees were a younger crowd and the owners have guided them to become exceptional servers/bartenders. I’m so glad we took a chance and stopped here!

I just had the pleasure of spending a couple of days in Philipsburg, and I ate 4 meals here in that time and got a latte for the road. Literally the best food I’ve had in years. The Prime Rib was 10/10…the French Onion Soup…10/10…The Sirloin 10/10…the burgers were, you guessed it, 10/10…the staff was friendly, professional, and on top of things. The restaurant is beautiful and has a fine dining feel but still welcoming enough to hang at the bar and watch the game. You need to try this place!!

They have decent selection of brews on tap. I’m not a wine person myself but I did notice they have a fairly sizable wine collection as well. The steak was tender, juicy, tasty and cooked the way I asked for it. The vibe of this little town and restaurant is wholesome and quaint. Will definitely come back again!

We attended a private 50th Birthday party here. We were in the outdoor area, and even through the rainstorms, this place far exceeded our expectations!

Called in here on a whim and it wasn’t very busy which was great. Service from Danny was top notch, engaging and attentive.
Sandwiches were filling and tasty.
There is a nice little courtyard out the back now too!

Celebrated a friends birthday at Winning Ridge and I can’t say enough good things about it.Their food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish we tried was bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The staff and atmosphere were equally impressive. I can’t wait to go back!

Solid new dining option in P-burg. They have an extensive wine and local beer list. The Bourbon Street Pasta was one of my favorites dishes. (The menu advertised it as spicy but I thought the flavor intensity was just right). The menu has a variety of other options including chicken, steak, pasta, sandwich, and traditional American dishes. Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a sit down dining experience. The only downside is that the food was a little overpriced for what you get and the service was a bit slow.

Food was delicious! Servers were extremely nice and checked in on us throughout the meal! It is such a cozy place to sit down and eat with good prices for high quality meals. We got to talk with the owners who are extremely nice and continued to check with us as well! Overall experience was great and will 100% return!

The Winning Ridge Ale House is a really nice, upscale restaurant. Maybe I’m getting more frugal with age, but it feels like you should be able to put together a meal for two for under $60. Instead, we were closer to $85, and that was with a vegetarian along, which added to the sticker shock.
I started with a wedge salad, and it was overdone. Too much bacon, too much dressing, and oddly no balsamic glaze, which every good wedge I’ve had usually includes. The portion also felt off. A wedge should be about a quarter head of lettuce, not closer to a sixth. That salad was a 2 out of 5.
The scallops were another story. They were about the size of a fifty-cent piece, and only four came on the plate. Six would have felt more appropriate. That said, they were cooked perfectly: hot, fast sear on both sides and nearly raw in the center, exactly how scallops should be.
The sauce was the real standout. Very French. Subtle, layered flavors that are hard to pin down, but they keep pulling you back for another bite. That kind of restraint and balance is rare, and when you find it, it’s special. Those scallops were 6 out of 5!
So yes, some disappointment, especially with the salad and the price, but also moments of real excellence that remind you why places like this still matter. One final note: my wife felt the huge TVs really need to go. This isn’t a sports bar, and the screens are a distraction that pull away from conversation, which for some people is a real turnoff.

I’ve eaten Rueben sandwiches from NY to LA. The best I’ve ever had was here at Winning Ridge. Perfect, tender corned beef (piled high), slightly toasted rye, all the rest… spectacular!
My wife had one of the smashburgers, and said – at the same time I was about to say “This is the best sandwich I’ve ever had!” – “This is the best burger I’ve ever had!”
