I was looking for a good place after spending the day at the beach and ended up here. The owner was very nice and the food was delicious and not only because we were hungry. loved it here! I ordered the chicken lo mein and my bf ordered the chicken cashew plate.

The best Chinese food ever!
I went to Winnie’s restaurant while visiting St. Martin and I must say, this is the best Chinese food I’ve had. Winnie is such a sweetheart. So kind, friendly, and welcoming. She made the experience 10x better.
I went in store (for takeout) and while waiting for the food, I enjoyed some margaritas made by Winnie herself. The drinks were strong (just how I like my drinks). The food was AMAZING. The general tso chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Not to mention the sauce was a 10/10. The vegetable lo mien was perfect. I loved everything about it.
Being from NY, Chinese food is all over, so I’ve tried many places in a lifetime. Winnie’s is so good I’m currently planning to come back solely for her food!
I highly recommend visiting. The restaurant is clean and well kept, ran by a personable woman.

Went with two friends on a hot summer evening and had an excellent authentic Chinese food experience. My friends looked at me crazy for ordering hot and sour soup on a 90 degree day but it was so worth it. If you like the dish I 100@% recommend. The dumpling (fried & steamed) are so good I swear my friend and I could eat 100 of them easily. The staff I believe is just a husband and wife and the wife was so attentive and even shared their WiFi password which was a first for me at any restaurant! This restaurant is tucked away behind the main “strip” of the shopping/ restaurant area and it is a shame because it is too good to be hidden away.

This was my first meal after landing in Sint Maarten. Had a great conversation with the co-manager of the restaurant. The prices of the meals were more expensive than what I’m used to for a Chinese restaurant — most likely because of being on an island and having to import to make a profit. Adequate amount of seating for inside and outside. Only con was the mosquitos outside.

Just got take out from here and it was really bad. Very greasy. Strange flavors. Not like your regular ‘chinese’. Got dumplings and it was a total greasy mess. They came with this strange jalapeño soy sauce which was so spicy it was totally inedible. I’m trying to put together in my head how and why there are so many positive reviews. It’s baffling. Avoid this place at all costs. 4 adults = almost $100. I’m giving 2 stars because they were nice.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Been here twice while on the island, that’s how good Winnie’s is. Walked in for dinner and was greeted by such kind and wonderful owners. My family and I had the whole restaurant to ourselves, we felt like VIPs. The atmosphere was great, service was really quick and the food was VERY DELICIOUS!!! The best authentic Chinese food we’ve had. If you’re in the Maho Beach area definitely visit, you won’t be disappointed!
