First of all, they spelled my name wrong supposed to be Caleb which was funny. The staff is okay not too friendly or polite, but I gotta say. 15 minute wait for the food that I paid for my family. They got the order right well almost for the 6-wing combo forgot the drink but we got the drink. The wing lemon flavored was so extra flavorful and very salty which I like. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the Hickory dickory BBQ chicken flavored sandwich was so good, sweet, crispy, and savory good. That’s the reason why I’m giving this 4 stars. 3 stars for staff and 5 stars for the food. Also, that’s why it rates an okay :).

I bought 15 pcs wings and I only got 10 pcs. Been waiting for almost 30 minutes, when I got my ordered the bag is sealed. So I’m expecting i got the right order. When we get back to our hotel, just found out that they us the wrong ordered. Paid for 15 pcs, but got only 10 pcs. Bad experience. Poor service. Not a friendly or not even smiling cashier ( INGRID). Next time before you leave check your order. They might give you the wrong ordered.

We have given this place multiple chances to get better. If anything they are getting worse. We have decided we will be driving to Daly City from now on. One time we have had raw wings given to us. They don’t put enough sauce. The staff barely speaks English and they don’t know their specials. I feel like the only reason they are still here is, because most people are to lazy to drive out of town.

I’m writing this to share what was honestly one of the most uncomfortable restaurant experiences I’ve ever had at Wingstop – Linda Mar Shopping Center on Friday, January 30, sometime between 7:30 and 8:00 PM.

My friend and I stopped in after work to grab dinner for ourselves and her daughter. We ordered at the counter, filled our drinks, and sat quietly on the bench near the soda machine while we waited. We were minding our own business, talking softly about work, when we noticed something strange happening behind the counter.

Three employees were gathered around one container of wings. Each of them leaned in extremely close and smelled it — close enough that their noses were almost touching the food. Two of them jumped back, made faces, and laughed. One of the people handling the food wasn’t even in work clothes — she was wearing a gray sweater and pajama bottoms — and she touched the food with bare hands, no gloves. That same food was then put into a to-go bag.

After that, things just kept getting worse. That same person went on to clean the soda area, then carried a used food tray and a small trash can to the service window and set the trash bin right on the counter where food is passed to customers. We also noticed the fridge/freezer doors being left open repeatedly for long stretches of time, not just briefly. On top of that, the cashier handled cash and did not wash her hands before continuing to work with food.

My friend is food-safety certified and quietly pointed out to me that what we were watching were health code violations. What really stood out was that no other food was treated the way that one container was.

When our order was called, my friend calmly asked why our food had been smelled and handled by multiple people and whether something was wrong with it. The answer we got was, “We didn’t know what flavor it was,” which didn’t make sense since the wings had just been made. When she asked why it needed to be smelled or touched without gloves, no one gave a real answer.

At that point, she asked for the food to be remade and placed the bag back on the counter, then requested their manager’s contact information. The staff refused to give her a manager’s phone number. Because of the seriousness of what we had seen and how we were being treated, she ended up calling corporate while we were still inside the store using the number on the receipt.

The remake came out much faster than the original order. The bags weren’t sealed, and my friend had to check them herself to make sure everything was there — though she later realized when she got home that her daughter’s fries were missing. As we were leaving, she looked back and saw the cashier making a vulgar hand gesture toward her.

What hurt the most was that while our food was being remade, the kitchen staff were making comments in Spanish about our body size, saying we didn’t need that much food and that there was no reason to remake it. My friend understands Spanish and translated it for me.

This wasn’t about being difficult or demanding. It was about food safety and basic respect. Asking that food be handled properly is reasonable. No one deserves to be mocked, talked about, or treated differently because of their weight, appearance, or mobility.

Between the food safety issues, the unprofessional behavior, and the way we were treated, I won’t be returning to this location or to Wingstop again. I truly hope this is taken seriously and addressed.

37.50 for my son to get 6 wings and me to get 8, plus gross fries and sodas. 30+ minutes wait for the food even though nobody else was there/ordering. Got home opened the food and NO SAUCE. Had to go back and the genius working kept questioning why I was upset. Oh and when I went back the genius was outside looking at his friends motorcycles and even though he saw me standing there made ZERO attempt to deal with me. His other friend had to go tell him he needed to go back in.

Did take out and it it takes 15 minutes to cook wings so works well to order on their website then go pick up. Website is franchise site so no up charges and frankly it’s more comprehensive than the in store menu. Staff was really friendly and the food was ready exactly when they said it would be. Bathroom is clean.
