Take-out
Food: Our food is always delicious. Our orders are always correct, and the food is still hot by the time we get home. They’re quite consistent as well, making sure the wings are done the same way almost every single time. Every now and then, the fries are a little different, but nothing to complain about in my opinion. We tend to opt for the boneless wings, and they’re typically really juicy. Also, the cheese fries are absolutely delicious! Their ranch is by far the best out there as well.
Service: Our order is almost always ready quickly; sometimes by the time we arrive even, and we only live about ten minutes away. We order online, and they have gotten it right every time. The staff tends to be a little…cold? For lack of a better term. They aren’t mean, but you’re also not greeted with a smile when you walk in.
Atmosphere: It’s a pretty typical sports-centered restaurant. Not too many decorations or intimate seating styles. They do keep it clean, which is a huge plus. The overall noise level varies, but it never seems to be obnoxiously loud.

First time ever visiting a wingstop and this location in Ames did not disappoint! Husband and I got the 15 bone in combo for two. He got the Korean BBQ and I got the Louisiana rub. For our side, we got a large voodoo fries. Also added the Cajun fried corn. The wings were very meaty and FAR from dry but definitely cooked completely! The staff was very helpful and kind. Much better than the wing place down the street!!! Will absolutely return here!!

Just had an awesome experience at Wingstop! The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you want when you’re craving wings. I love wing stop they’re better food than other wing places they season well not too much or too little which makes asking for what I want simple. Consistently inspiring food that pleases you. Very tasty wings boneless or bone in. Louisiana Rub flavor, were crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The Cajun flavor was a nice level of heat, not to hot, fries are seasoned perfectly, though a little greasy, overall very good, almost 20 min wait from counter till I got my order, no wifi, bike racks, delivery or catering, Ill be back though!
