I just had the single worst experience of my entire life at any restaurant, anywhere, at the Wingstop in New Britain, CT. If I could rate this location below zero, I wouldn’t hesitate.
I walked in just trying to buy something small so I could use the restroom. I suffer from Crohn’s disease, and when you have Crohn’s, access to a bathroom isn’t some cute luxury—it’s a medical necessity. Their bathrooms were locked, and they told me only paying customers can use them. Fine. I asked to purchase a brownie so I could legally qualify as a “paying customer.”
One employee—the man working the front counter—spoke to me with the most arrogant, demeaning tone I’ve ever encountered in food service. He actually mocked me for buying a brownie just to use the restroom. Yes—he laughed at a medical situation. Even after I paid, two employees acted like they were doing me a favor by unlocking a bathroom that their own policy required me to pay to use.
Then, while I was finally using the restroom, that same employee pounded on the door like I was being raided by law enforcement. Absolutely unacceptable. I came out, shocked, and he literally laughed in my face.
Let me be extremely clear:
The behavior of the two male employees here was rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and downright hostile. I have NEVER been talked to or treated like this at any restaurant—not fast food, not fine dining, not ever.
The only decent person in the entire establishment was a young woman who actually showed basic human empathy, but she was ignored and overruled by the men working alongside her.
This Wingstop was filthy in attitude, filthy in service, and filthy in basic humanity. I genuinely hope Wingstop corporate reads this, because this isn’t just bad service—it’s discriminatory treatment toward a customer with a medical condition.
Save yourself the disrespect.
Do NOT visit this Wingstop.
This time some of the boneless wings didn’t have any CHICKEN! Literally just fried pieces of breading with sauce on it. pics to prove it too…
it was $0.70 boneless wing night. And so I got 15 for $10.50, but I didn’t really get 15 now did I?! if I want sauce covered bread chunks I can do that at home.
